Traffic Accidents: Dec. 7, 2012

MONROE - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in the Town of Albany at 11:47 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5. Thomas D. Williamson, 44, Madison, was taken by React Helicopter to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. His passenger, Michael D. Ashbrook, 28, Mount Horeb, was taken by Brooklyn EMS to Monroe Clinic. Williamson was westbound on Brooklyn Albany Road when he failed to stop for a stop sign at County E. Daniel W. Marshall, 39, Brooklyn was northbound on County E when he also failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Brooklyn Albany Road. The vehicles collided. No injuries were reported for Marshall's passenger, Stephen G. Goetz, 46, Brooklyn. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed. Albany police, firefighters and EMS and the Green County Highway Department also responded.

• Ross A. Reuter, 29, Monticello, was uninjured when he hit a deer in the N5200 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of Washington at 8:32 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5. The collision caused moderate damage to the front driver's side of the vehicle, and it was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - Aaron D. Saalsaa, 27, Argyle, reported at 5:01 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, that he hit a deer on County G in the Town of Argyle.
