Monroe Police

MONROE - Eugene C. Stuckey, 84, Monroe, was cited for inattentive driving after police investigated a two-vehicle accident at 5:01 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26 in the 600 block of Wis. 69. Stuckey hit a vehicle driven by Kimberly E. Hedeman, 31, Monroe. No injuries were reported after and both vehicles sustained minor damage.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Thursday, Dec. 26:

• Madison A. Hawley, 20, New Glarus, was uninjured following a one-vehicle accident on Church Road in Washington Township reported at 2 p.m. Hawley was driving up a hill when he lost control of his vehicle, hit a tree and rolled into a ditch. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• Eric A. Grau Noriega, 22, Middleton, was uninjured following a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Meyers Road at Burkhalter Road in Sylvester Township reported at 3:32 p.m. Noriega was driving south on Meyers Road when he started to slow down to turn and lost control of his vehicle, entered a ditch and hit a power pole. Noriega's passengers were also uninjured. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Dec. 26:

• Deputies began responding at 1:03 a.m. to several complaints of vehicles in the ditch due to light snow that fell in the early evening hours and began to blow and drift on county and township roads. No injuries were reported and most of the vehicles sustained only minor damage.

• Beau G. Holland, 16, Gratiot, was uninjured following a one-vehicle accident Phillipine Road in Wiota Township reported at 11:53 a.m. Holland was traveling east when he lost control of his vehicle at a curve on the snow-covered roadway. Holland's vehicle went across the roadway, entered a ditch and hit a fence.
