NEW GLARUS - Police responded to a vehicle stuck in a snowbank at 3rd Avenue and Railroad Street at 7 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22. Kasey L. Wild, 16, Monroe, lost control while attempting to make a turn at the intersection. The vehicle was pushed out of the snowbank with no damage.

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash at 6:53 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, on Wisconsin 69 south of Abels Road in the Town of Monroe. Juan Cabrera Guerra, 41, Monroe, lost control on the snow-covered road. The vehicle veered into the ditch and overturned. It was moderately damaged and towed.

- Deputies responded to a hit-and-run crash in the N2300 block of Bethel Road in the Town of Clarno at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21. Frederick C. Neuenschwander, 73, Monroe, had become stuck in a snow drift in the early-morning hours that day. He returned later to discover his vehicle had been struck. The driver of the other vehicle did not report the crash.

- No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on Wis. 69 at County C in the Town of Mount Pleasant at 11:39 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21. Joyce L. Halvorsen, 59, Monticello, collided with a utility trailer on a pickup truck driven by Kevin D. Keegan, 43, Monroe. The trailer broke free and overturned into a snowbank. Halvorsen's vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed. Keegan's truck was not damaged, but the utility trailer was severely damaged and towed.

- Wilfred A. Voge, 74, Beloit, was taken to Monroe Clinic for treatment of injuries he sustained in a one-vehicle crash on Wis. 11 west of County G in the Town of Spring Grove at 12:09 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21. He lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered road, and it overturned several times. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed. The Juda Fire Department, Green County EMS and Brodhead police also responded to the scene.

- Dorothy A. Seffrood, 60, South Wayne, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash on Wis. 11 east of Keller Road in the Town of Clarno at 3:25 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21. She lost control in the slippery conditions, and her vehicle veered into the ditch and overturned. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.

- Whitney B. Hellwig, 17, Freeport, Ill., was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash on Wis. 69 at County P in the Town of Clarno at 9:23 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21. She lost control in the icy conditions, slid into the ditch and collided with a snowbank. The vehicle sustained minor front-end damage and was towed out of the ditch.

- No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash in the N1500 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Clarno at 1:02 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. Christopher R. Vandervalk, 19, Monroe, told the responding deputy that he swerved to avoid hitting a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction in the middle of the road. He lost control, and his vehicle left the road. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed out of the ditch.

- Scott N. Johnson, 51, South Beloit, Ill., was transported by Green County EMS for treatment of injuries he sustained in a snowmobile crash at 11:28 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, on a snowmobile trail near Wis. 11 and County OK in the Town of Spring Grove. He reported the throttle stuck, the snowmobile became airborne and he was ejected from the machine. He was wearing a helmet and eye protection. The snowmobile sustained minor damage.
