Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Green County deputy Dani Jackson was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash at 5:20 a.m. Saturday in the N4100 block of Jordan-Wiota Road in the Town of Jordan. As Jackson approached a corner, she drove onto the shoulder and hit a road sign. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage was driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• Carrie L. Henderson, 63, Albany, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash at 5:51 p.m. on County E north of Attica Road in the Town of Albany. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Green County deputy Dustin Thompson was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash at 8:09 p.m. on Wisconsin 39 in the Town of York. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Donald Stutes, 52, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer on Wisconsin 11, Wayne Township, at 2 a.m.

• Nathan Nickel, 35, Adams, reported hitting a deer on U.S. 151, Kendall Township, at 5:13 a.m.

• Marilyn Rofsmeyer, 60, Hollandale, reported hitting a deer on County F, Blanchardville Township, at 4:53 p.m.

• Gary Stanton, 51, Platteville, reported hitting a deer on County I, New Diggings Township, at 4:58 p.m.

• Tammy Stark, 52, Monroe, reported hitting a deer on Wisconsin 11, Wayne Township, at 8:35 p.m.

On Saturday:

• Kristine Marty, 58, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer on Wisconsin 78, Argyle Township, at 9:26 a.m.

• No injuries were reported at 6:09 p.m. after a two-vehicle accident at Wisconsin 81, Darlington Township. Robert Buschor, 83, Darlington was driving on Tama Run when he struck a westbound truck driven by Dulce Vargus, 20, Darlington. Buschor was cited for failure to yield right-of-way and Vargus was cited for operating after suspension and no child safety seat. Vargas was also transported to Lafayette County Jail on a Waupaca County warrant and was jailed.
