MONROE - A man was injured when he was hit by a vehicle at about 11:15 p.m. in a parking lot in the 1400 block of 9th Avenue. A vehicle driven by John A. Welsh, 41, Durand, Ill., hit Eric J. Friedericks, 32, Brodhead. Friedericks sustained minor injuries.

- No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Monday at 17th Street and 17th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Dwight R. Denure, 16, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Herschel L. Jackson Jr., 44, Monroe. Denure was cited for driving too fast for conditions. The vehicles received moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 69 at County C in Mount Pleasant township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Nathaniel l. Lederson, 20, Monticello, pulled out from a stop sign into the path of a vehicle driven by Kaitlyn L. Allen, 20, Monroe. Lederman told deputies he couldn't see Allen's vehicle. Allen sustained an injury but declined medical attention. Lederman was cited for failure to yield the right of way and released pending court. Allen's vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. Lederman's vehicle received moderate damage.

- No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about noon on York Center Road in York township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Robert Kuehne, 56, Blanchardville, left the road, went over an embankment and hit a tree. Kuehne told deputies he swerved to avoid a deer. He left the scene of the crash. He was cited for failure to notify police of an accident and released pending court. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

- No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:45 p.m. Monday on High School Road in Jefferson township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Steven A. Steiner, 17, Browntown, failed to negotiate a curve, went into the ditch and hit several small trees. He was cited for driving after suspension and released pending court. Speed and snow were contributing factors in the crash.

- A vehicle driven by Ricky A. Blumer, 56, Albany, collided with a deer at about 6:30 a.m. Monday on County E near Borchardt Road in Decatur township. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11 a.m. Monday on County G in Belmont township. Deputies report a truck pulling a trailer and driven by Adam L. Andrews, 21, Belmont, left the road and hit a utility guide wire due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4:30 p.m. Monday on County Shop Road in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Martia M. Larson, 76, Darlington, left the road and hit a mailbox.

- A vehicle driven by Ronald J. Frei, 45, Argyle, collided with a turkey at about 12:15 p.m. Monday on County B in Wayne township. The vehicle had moderate damage.
