Monroe Police

MONROE - Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. Friday at Wisconsin 69 and 21st Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Chelsi S. Langmeier, 18, Argyle, hit a vehicle driven by John C. Maveus, 41, Monroe. Langmeier was cited for following too closely and released pending court. The vehicles received minor damage. No further information was available.

• One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8:15 a.m. Friday at 10th Street and 30th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Holly A. Lelle, 39, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Janelle M. Kosek, 29, Monroe. Lelle was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The vehicles received moderate damage. No further information was available.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 10 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of 9th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Nathan R. Weber, 17, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Jon N. Pfarr, 67, Monroe. Weber was cited for imprudent speed. The vehicles received moderate damage

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:15 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of 8th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Amber R. Gassman, 23, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Leann J. Bruno, 49, Monroe. Gassman was cited for failure to yield. The vehicles received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4:15 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of 10th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Murad H. Mustafa, 38, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Joseph R. Thoman, 20, Monroe. Mustafa was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The vehicles received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:45 a.m. Friday at West 10 1/2 Street and West 6th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Bradley R. Willborn, 45, Belmont, hit a fire hydrant. The vehicle received minor damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. Friday on County E, south of Borchardt Road in Decatur township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Amber F. Tracy, 21, Brodhead, crossed the road and went into a ditch due to slippery road conditions. Tracy sustained an injury and was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in two separate accidents at about 8:30 a.m. Friday in the W5800 block of County H in New Glarus township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Michael D. Hanson, 16, New Glarus, failed to negotiate a curve and slid into the ditch. His vehicle received minor damage. Nathan J. Allman, 16, New Glarus, was traveling on the same curve when he saw Hanson's vehicle in the ditch. Allman applied his breaks, lost control of the vehicle and hit Hanson's vehicle. Road conditions were a factor in the accident.
