MONROE - On Wednesday, Dec. 11:

• No injuries were reported at 6:44 a.m. from a two-vehicle crash at Wis. 81 and County N in Monroe Township. Brian A. Schoenhard, 35, Monticello, was southbound on County N, attempting to slow and stop for the stop sign with Wis. 81 when he lost traction and slid through the intersection, colliding with a westbound vehicle driven by David J. Cianfrini, 28, Monroe. The vehicles sustained minor damages and were driven from the scene. Speed and road conditions were factors in the crash. Schoenhard was warned for driving too fast for conditions.

• Barbara A. Baldwin, 47, Monroe, was transported by Monroe EMS for injuries she sustained in a one-vehicle crash at 7:49 a.m. in Jordan Township. Baldwin was northbound on North Klondike Road, approaching the intersection with Rufer Road, when she slid and went into the ditch on the north side of Rufer Road. The vehicle ended up on its roof and sustained moderate damage to most areas. It was towed from the scene. The Browntown Fire Department assisted at the scene.

• Andrew J. Rufener, 33, Albany, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident reported at 7:59 a.m. on Stephenson Lane south of Purintun Road in Albany Township. He was southbound when he lost control on a snow-covered curve, went into the ditch and struck a concrete sign. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed.

• Randy A. Ruegsegger, 58, Argyle, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident reported at 5:50 p.m. in the N7400 block of Dougherty Creek Road in York Township. He was northbound when he reported that he swerved to miss a deer, lost control and went into the west ditch, nearly hitting a bridge and bridge railing, then traveled down a steep embankment. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels in a nearby creek. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.

• Paula L. Peterson, 41, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash reported at 6:30 p.m. on Wis. 11 near Balls Mill Road in Sylvester Township. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end and undercarriage damage and was towed.

• Gavin S. Baade, 17, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. truck crash reported at 9:07 p.m. on County E north of Myrt Lane in Decatur Township. The truck sustained moderate damage and Baade was able to drive it from the scene.

MONROE - On Wednesday, Dec. 11:

• No injuries were reported at 6:35 a.m. after Michael D. Wedig, 50, Darlington, lost control on a snow-covered curve while eastbound on Woodberry Road in Willow Springs Township. His 2010 Chevrolet went into the ditch and through a fence. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:58 a.m. after Allen J. Radke, 18, Dodgeville, lost control in the slippery road conditions on U.S. 151 in Kendall Township. His 2006 Ford slid sideways and into the ditch, where it went down an embankment and hit a fence before coming to rest in a pasture. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene after a tow truck pulled it from the pasture.
