Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:15 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of 13th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Keri M. Werren, 26, Monroe, collided with a parked vehicle owned by Shirley M. Knox, Monroe. Werren was arrested for second-offense driving while intoxicated and released pending court.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday at 8th Street and 18th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Richard M. Leitzen, 63, Brodhead, collided with a vehicle driven by Jamie K. Fuchs,32, Monticello. Leitzen was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:45 a.m. Thursday in the N.4100 block of County J. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Mary M. Holmes, 36, Baraboo, left the road and went into a ditch after she got something in her eye. She was taken to the Monroe Clinic Hospital for injuries. The vehicle received minor damages. Holmes was cited for driving after suspension and released pending court.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday in the N2300 block of Airport Road in Spring Grove township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Eric J. Willhite, 17, Brodhead, skidded into a ditch and hit an electrical box. The vehicle received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday on County EE at Schneeberger Road in Mount Pleasant township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Joel C. Sass, 38, Sauk City, went into the ditch as Sass was talking on his phone. He will be cited for driving too fast for conditions and failure to notify police of an accident. The vehicle was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:15 p.m. Thursday on County Y in Jordan township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Shirley M. Long, 61, Woodford, left the road and went into a ditch due to snow on the road. The vehicle received minor damage.

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident reported at about 4 p.m. Thursday. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Kevin Holverson, 37, Browntown, went into a ditch on County M in Wiota township due to slippery road conditions.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:15 p.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 11 in Benton township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by David Schuchart, 51, Cuba City, went into a ditch due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 78 in Wiota township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Michael Flanagan, 37, Woodford, hit a guardrail due to slippery road conditions.
