MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No injuries were reported at 11:17 a.m. Friday after Virginia M. Bredeson, 76, Monroe, struck a vehicle in the 400 block of West 8th Street. Bredeson was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - A driver was injured at 12:47 p.m. Sunday after a two-vehicle collision in the W2500 block of Zurfluh Road, Town of Mount Pleasant. Kimberly K. Wildt, 51, Albany, struck the vehicle of Melody A. Hawkins, 60, South Wayne, who was attempting to turn into a driveway. Wildt was injured and was transported to a local hospital. Hawkins was uninjured. Hawkins' vehicle sustained severe damage, while Wildt's sustained moderate damage. Both were towed from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Saturday, a hit-and-run was reported at 4:40 a.m. on County W, Town of Monticello.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 12:10 a.m. after December L. Blum, 18, Monroe, failed to negotiate a curve on County W, Town of Benton and struck a fence. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.

• A one-vehicle accident was reported at 2:46 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington.
