BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - No injuries were reported at 7:04 p.m. July 25 in the 500 block of 15th Street after a vehicle backed into another vehicle. No citations were issued.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Sunday:

• A motorcyclist and a passenger were injured at 3:27 p.m. in the W2300 block of County EE, Town of Albany. Paul A. Ramsey Jr., 67, Rockford, lost control of his motorcycle on a gravel shoulder, whereupon the bike fell onto its side and skidded into a ditch. Ramsey was transported to a Rockford hospital by Flight For Life. A passenger, Catharine M. McClure, 58, Rockford, was also injured and was transported to the Monroe Clinic. The motorcycle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Mary K. Dorn, 63, New Glarus, struck a deer in the N8400 block of Zentner Road, Town of New Glarus.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday, a hit-and-run was reported at 2:35 p.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Kendall.

On Saturday:

• A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries at 6:10 p.m. after David W. Simak, 47, Wauconda, Ill., veered off the Cheese Country Trail to avoid a collision and struck a tree near Larse Road, Town of Wayne. The motorcycle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:30 p.m. after Spencer W. Johnston, 19, Platteville, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 4:46 p.m. after Nathan J. Wagner, 21, Mineral Point, lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch, where he struck a fence, on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard. Wagner was cited for failure to maintain control of his vehicle and driving without proof of vehicle insurance. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
