MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in the 300 block of 27th Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. A 57-year-old woman from Monroe was driving a vehicle that hit a legally parked vehicle. The driver was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER for an illness unrelated to the crash. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

MONROE - On Friday:
Two people were injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash on Wisconsin 81 near Duncan Hill Road, Town of Jordan, at 8:23 p.m. John E. Kuhn, 49, Crown Point, Ind., was westbound on Wis. 81 when he lost control of his vehicle in a curve causing the vehicle to go off the roadway and overturn. John and his passenger, Annamarie Kuhn, 48, Crown Point, Ind., both sustained injuries and were transported via EMS. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.
Ronald G. Hartwig, 41, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred on County E west of Golf Course Road, Decatur Township, at 9:25 p.m. Hartwig was westbound on County E when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
On Saturday:
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident in the W8700 block of Sawmill Road, York Township. Deputies were dispatched to a possible accident and came upon Herbert W. Huff, 24, New Glarus, in the process of having his vehicle towed by a private citizen. Huff told the officers he was westbound when he lost control of his vehicle in a curve. His vehicle hit a tree in the south shoulder of the road. The vehicle had severe driver's side and front-end damage. Huff was cited at 1:41 a.m. for failure to notify law enforcement of an accident, second offense, driving too fast for conditions and driving without proof of insurance. He was released pending court. Michael S. Cooter, 26, Blanchardville, was driving the truck, which was pulling Hoff's vehicle. Cooter was cited for driving without a valid driver's license. Cooter was released pending court.
Alex J. Hasse, 24, Juda, sustained injuries after his vehicle hit an Alliant Energy utility pole in the W2600 block Mohns Road, Town of Sylvester, at 4:45 a.m. Hasse was westbound when he reportedly looked down at his cellphone, entered the south ditch and hit the pole. He was transported to the hospital via private vehicle for his injuries. The vehicle was severely damaged. The incident remains under investigation.
Joan A. Fasse, 80, West Bend, was transported to Monroe Clinic ER via Blanchardville EMS for injuries she sustained in a one-motorcycle accident in the W9200 block of County H, York Township, at 11:11 a.m. Fasse was westbound when her motorcycle went wide of a corner and entered some gravel. She proceeded to lay the motorcycle on its side before coming to a stop in the ditch. She was wearing a helmet and eye protection.
No injuries were reported in a one-truck accident at the intersection of Church Road and Buckskin Road, Washington Township. A citizen called dispatch and notified them that the driver of the truck had crawled out of it, and two other vehicles arrived on scene and pulled the truck out of a ditch. The caller told law enforcement the vehicles fled northbound on Church Road. Deputies and Monticello police located the vehicles at a farm on Church Road. The driver Devan J. Mueller, 32, Monroe, was southbound on Church Road when his truck skidded through the intersection and into the west ditch where it hit a telephone box. Aleron Jhereg Wasserstrass, 28, Monroe, pulled Mueller's truck out of the ditch and both vehicles left the scene. Mueller's truck was towed and impounded. He was cited at 2:36 a.m. Sunday for hit-and-run property adjacent to a highway, failure to notify law enforcement of an accident and driving too fast for conditions. Wasserstrass was cited for assisting a person in fleeing from an accident. Both subjects were released pending court.

DARLINGTON - Robert R. Howe, 43, Portage, was uninjured in a deer vs. SUV accident on U.S. 151, Belmont Township, at 7:48 p.m Friday. The deer caused damage to the SUV, the car trailer he was towing and the 1979 Chevrolet he was towing on the trailer.
