Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Thursday:

• William R. Weber, 54, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. truck accident on Wisconsin 69, Wuetrich Road, Town of Clarno at 12:12 a.m. Weber was northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the passenger side of his truck. The truck sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Nicole R. Jackson, 26, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred in the N1600 block of Five Corners Road, Town of Clarno. Investigation revealed Jackson was southbound when her vehicle drifted left of center and into the ditch on the east side of the road. The vehicle then hit a mailbox causing severe damage to the driver's-side headlight area. Pieces found at the scene matched Jackson's vehicle. Jackson was cited at 6:30 a.m. for driving without insurance, hit-and-run property damage and failure to notify law enforcement of a crash. She was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Curtis E. Dittberner, 64, Cleveland, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 151, Belmont Township, at 10:01 p.m. Thursday. Dittberner was southbound when he lost control of his vehicle and drove into the ditch. He was hauling a cattle trailer that overturned, causing damage. The vehicle and trailer were towed from the scene.
