Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 1:41 p.m. Monday, April 22 in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue. Reports indicate that Janet L. Albertson, 71, Albany, was backing out of a private driveway when she hit a vehicle driven by Nancy L. Anderson, 40, Brodhead. Anderson was traveling on 3rd Avenue. Both vehicles had moderate damage. Albertson was cited for unsafe backing and was released.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a deer vs. vehicle accident at 11:21 p.m. Sunday, April 21 in the W8900 block of Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Jordan. Kayleigh M. Knell, 25, Monroe, was traveling eastbound on Wis. 81 when she hit a deer. The vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported during a vehicle vs. deer accident at 5:50 a.m. Monday, April 22 in the W3300 block of Buol Road in the Town of Exeter. Merik H. Hovorka, 27, Evansville, was traveling eastbound on Buol Road when he hit a deer. The vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• Green County Sheriff's deputies, along with Belleville Fire, EMS and Med Flight responded to a motor vehicle crash at 7:14 a.m. Monday, April 22 in the N8500 block of County X in the Town of Exeter. Marie H. Venden, 64, Belleville, was pulling out of her driveway and turning left when she pulled into the path of a southbound vehicle, operated by Marvin C. Keehn, 81, Belleville. Venden reported no injuries. Keehn was not wearing a seatbelt but his passenger, Beatrice Keehn, 80, Belleville, was wearing a seatbelt. Both Marvin Keehn and Beatrice Keehn were transported from the scene for treatment of injuries received in the crash. Both vehicles had severe damage and were towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported during a vehicle vs. deer accident at 9:42 a.m. Monday, April 22 in the N3300 block of Wis. 59 in the Town of Sylvester. Shirley L. Zumkehr, 68, Monroe, was traveling westbound on Wis. 59 when she hit a deer. The vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported during a vehicle vs. deer accident at 8:58 p.m. Monday, April 22 in the N600 block of Haddinger Road in the Town of Clarno. Debra D. Gorr, 50, Monroe, was traveling southbound on Haddinger Road when she hit a deer. The vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Brenda A. Nelson, 42, Darlington, reported no injuries at 6:05 p.m. Monday, April 22 when her vehicle was damaged from a piece of debris that was thrown off a farm implement that she was following on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township.
