DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 23, near Short Cut Road. Deputies reported that Robert Michael Martin, 17, was southbound on Wisconsin 23, when a vehicle driven by Carole Alice Hicks, 68, Darlington, pulled from Short Cut Road and collided with the Martin vehicle. The Martin vehicle slid sideways off the road and into a ditch. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Hicks was cited for failure to yield at stop sign.

- Tami L. Cenite, 34, Mineral Point, reported striking a deer at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- A deputy took a report at about 11 a.m. Saturday for a hit-and-run accident that occurred the previous night at E. Center Street in South Wayne. Reports said a utility pole guide wire had been struck by an unknown vehicle.
