MONROE - A 2-year-old rural Argyle girl was located around 9:23 p.m. in the second story of her family home, after a 35-minute search by Lafayette County Sheriff's deputies and fire department personnel from Woodford, Argyle, Blanchardville and Wiota, as well as Argyle and Blanchardville Emergency Medical Service personnel and Argyle Police.
Family members had searched the home several times. Lafayette County Sheriff Scott Pedley said in a news release the child apparently was hiding in a bedroom.
The home is located at a farm on North Riverbend Road in rural Argyle, and the child was believed to have wandered away
