Thomas G. Lewis, age 67 of Argyle, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at his home.

Tom was born April 10, 1945 in Monroe, the son of the late Glenn V. and Edna A. (Seyler) Lewis. He graduated from Argyle High School and farmed all of his life on the Lewis home farm in Jordan Township. Tom also worked for the Jordan Township Recylcing Center and seasonally at the Swiss Colony. He enjoyed reading, his cats and dogs, and visiting with people.

He is survived by his sister, Glenda (John) Wyssbrod of South Wayne; a nephew, Jim (Laurie) Hegi of Monroe; and three nieces, Julie (Greg) Knoke, Jennie Wyssbrod, and Jill (Steve) Reynolds, all of Monroe.

Private family graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, with Reverend Randy Booth officiating. A memorial fund will be established in Tom's name.
