Sharon Huber, age 76 of Lena, Illinois, passed away on Saturday September 21, 2013 at Heritage Woods of Freeport. She was born May 22, 1937 in Wiota, WI, the daughter of Bjarne and Hazel (Jackson) Rygh. Sharon married James Huber on July 6, 1957 at the East Wiota Lutheran Church.

Sharon and her husband owned and operated Lena Heating and Air Conditioning for years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and cleaning. Sharon especially enjoyed playing euchre with her granddaughter Ellie.

Sharon is survived by her son Tim (Sally) Huber of Darlington, WI; daughter Lori (Pete) Willging of Freeport; five grandchildren - Ben (Stephanie) Huber of Monroe, WI, Sarah (Dana) Andrews of Manchester, MI, Matt (Alicia Sturtevant) Huber of Lena, IL, Katie (fiancée Spencer Meinert) Huber of Davis, IL, and Eleanor Willging of Freeport, IL; four great-grandchildren - Tessa Huber, Zackary, Max, and Tyler Andrews; brother Robert (Sylvia) Rygh of Beloit, WI; and a sister Barbara (Gordon) Barnwell of Glendale, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James on September 18, 1990, parents, and son Jeffrey Huber.

A private committal service will take place prior to visitation.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.
