SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Our bright star has moved on. Our loving daughter, Sara Kathleen Rupnow, 19, Sacramento, Calif., passed away December 14, 2009, after a 3-year battle with cancer. She was an inspiration to all she met.
Survived by parents, Carol and Steve Rupnow, and her sister, Rebecca, all of Sacramento; grandparents, Ray and Joan Rupnow, Monroe; grandma, Kathleen Conley, Concord, Calif.; and her dear aunts and uncles.
Sara graduated from Sheldon High School in 2008 and attended Sac City College. She loved Camp Okizu, her friends, and fashion.
The service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2009 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 8925 Vintage Park Dr., Sacramento, CA 95829.
