Rodney R. Ostby, age 59, of Peyton, Colorado passed away at home on Friday, December 25, 2015.
He was born December 29, 1955 in Darlington, Wisconsin to Robert and Shelba Ostby.
He married Janice Gunser in Monroe, Wisconsin on June 5, 1976. They moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in February 1979, and then to Peyton, Colorado in 2002.
Rod was a sheet metal worker with Sheet Metal Local #9 for 34 years and retired in 2014. He loved camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; daughter, Kari of Denver, Colorado; son, Justin of Littleton, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Stefanie; and granddaughters: Zoe and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ostby; his mother, Shelba Partridge; and his brother, Steven Ostby who died in infancy.
A celebration of life will be held by family at a later date.
