Robert P. Bevins, age 47 of Monroe, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. He was born on January 15, 1968, in Chicago, IL the son of Nathaniel and Carol (Donnell) Bevins. He graduated from Amundson High School in Chicago, IL. Robert worked as a self-employed handyman. He enjoyed tinkering with stuff.

He is survived by 4 children: Percy Hazelwood, Alexis Hazelwood, Tyler Bevins, and Tesa Bevins, all of Monroe; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Darwin (Tammy) Bevins of Dunlap, TN and Craig (Natum) Bevins of South Wayne; a sister, Michelle (Ron) Bevins-Tossi of Monroe; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM. Monday, January 4, 2015 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME with Chaplin Sue Hall officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
