Richard L. "Rich" Goepfert born to Eternal Life on October 31, 2013 at age 62. Loving husband of Kerry Ann (nee Kosmoski). Cherished father of Anné Jean. Beloved son-in-law of Edward and the late Jean Kosmowski. Dear brother of Roger (Joan) Goepfert. Dedicated brother-in-law of Debra (Robert) Polenska. Proud uncle of Brian Goepfert, Valerie (Brian) Schmoldt, Deana (Matt) Dopp, Andrew (Amber) Kamoske and Justin Polenska. Rich will be loved, remembered and missed by many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis Arthur and Julia Sophia Goepfert.
Rich was passionate about military history and aviation. He worked as an announcer/host of a local Monroe radio station while pursuing his MBA. Rich will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and his ability to get a laugh out of his family and friends whenever they gathered.
Visitation on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Funeral Home from 4-8 PM with a vigil service at 7 PM. Additional visitation on Monday from 8:45-9:45 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church (9306 W. Beloit Rd). Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Aurora Zilber Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
