MONROE - Tomas Viveros-Colorado, 21, Monroe, was cited for disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and two counts of criminal damage to property after police were called to the 300 block of 4th Street at 4:07 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15. He allegedly kicked in doors to two apartments, then tried to give a responding officer a false name for himself.
William B. Robison, 20, Monroe, was arrested on charges of theft, criminal damage to property, underage drinking and bail jumping after police investigated a report at 11:13 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, of a baseball bat stolen out of a vehicle parked near Smokey Row that had been used to smash out the windows of a vehicle parked in the 2200 block of 16th Street. Robison was released pending court.
Christopher J. McGoff, 32, Monroe, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in the 800 block of 22nd Avenue. He was released after posting the required bond.
Shawna H.M. Gallagher, 17, Monroe, was cited for underage possession of tobacco at Monroe High School at 12:17 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Alexander J. Bartelt, 17, Monroe, was cited for underage possession of tobacco at Monroe High School at 7:33 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Police were called to Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W., for a report of a bat in the hair salon at 10:34 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13.
A couple asleep in a parked vehicle in Twining Park after-hours were asked to leave at 12:14 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.
A black and white cat was reported missing from the 1600 block of 15th Avenue at 12:38 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.
A resident in the 1100 block of 15th Street complained at 8:19 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, about a neighbor who allows a cat to run at large. The neighbor was warned.
A 45-year-old Monroe man incapacitated by alcohol was turned over to a responsible party after he was found passed out in the 1200 block of 14th Avenue at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.

A man found an orange and white cat at Piggly Wiggly, 725 8th St., and brought it to the police station at 10:01 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15. Arrangements were made for the cat to be taken to the Green County Humane Society.
A 14-year-old emailed the police department at 10:28 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, to report harassment between boyfriends and girlfriends in the 300 block of 5th Street. Police talked with the parents. No one was cited or arrested.
A carton of cigarettes was reported stolen out of a vehicle in the 400 block of West 8th Street at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. The person who reported the incident later found them under a seat.
Police were called to the 1200 block of 25th Street for a dispute between two 10-year-old boys and their fathers at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17. The two boys had a disagreement that ended with one boy going home crying. The crying boy's father chased the other boy home and screamed at his father. The other boy's father called police. Police warned the father of the crying boy to stop and told the boys to stay away from each other. No one was cited or arrested.
The theft of a bicycle from the 900 block of 16th Avenue was reported at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17.
A kitten was reported found inside the Northsider Mobil gas station, 180 N. 18th Ave., at 8:14 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18. The kitten bit the employee who caught it and put in a box. It was turned over to the Humane Society, where it is being quarantined.
