Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Carmen L. Prechel, 41, Monroe, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a domestic dispute on Town Center Road in Jefferson Township at 11:42 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15. Prechel posted bond and was released pending court.

• Dale H. Laube, 54, Belleville, was cited for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to Pine Ridge Court in Exeter Township for a dispute between neighbors at 2:55 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16.

• Steven J. Hoffman, 25, Blanchardville, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies responded to a rollover accident in York Township at 7:13 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16. Hoffman was westbound in the W8800 block of Wisconsin 59 when his vehicle went onto the north gravel shoulder. He overcorrected and veered into the south ditch, where the vehicle rolled and came to rest on its roof. He reported minor injuries but declined medical attention. The severely damaged vehicle was towed. Hoffman is also cited for driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and failure to maintain control. He was released pending court.

DARLINGTON - On Monday, Sept. 16:

• Louis C. Uran, 54, Benton, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies responded at 10:26 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident on Main Street in Benton. Uran was eastbound when he hit a legally parked vehicle belonging to Patricia J. Seng, 65, Benton. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and towed. Uran was released pending court. State court records indicate this is his second offense of driving while intoxicated.

• A deputy responded at 6:16 p.m. to County G in Calamine Township for a complaint of a dog running at large.
