Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Michael R. Goforth, 30, Platteville, was cited for driving with a suspended license, driving without vehicle insurance and non-registration of an auto at 5 p.m. Oct. 1 following a traffic stop in the parking lot of Subway, 191 Christensen Drive.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Amber D. Messler, 20, Monroe, was arrested at 1:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of 3rd Street on charges of criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and battery. She was released with a court date.

• Matthew D. Gilbertson, 32, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct while armed after police responded at 6:49 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of West 21st Street. He was released with a court date.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 12:25 a.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

• Gisselle L. Carlsen, 31, Darlington, was transported from the Taycheedah Correctional Institution in Fond du Lac to the Lafayette County Courthouse in Darlington at 5:30 a.m. She was later transported back to Taycheedah.

• Criminal damage to a mailbox was reported at 12:35 p.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard.

• Deputies assisted the Lafayette County Highway Department at 2:35 p.m. on County F, Town of Seymour, with cleaning up a layer of corn that had spilled on the roadway.

• A civil dispute was reported at 3:02 p.m. on Lafayette Street in Belmont.

• A deputy assisted Probation and Parole at 4:02 p.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 4:07 p.m. on Ridge Street, Town of Calamine.

• Lori A. Hilby, 50, Benton, was cited at 6:23 p.m. on 3rd Street in Benton for contributing to the truancy of a minor.

• Charles B. Coley, 78, Benton, was cited at 6:36 p.m. on 2nd Street in Benton for contributing to the truancy of a minor.

• Allison J. Timmerman, 21, Benton, was cited for speeding at 6:45 p.m. on County I, Town of Shullsburg.

• A deputy provided traffic control at 8:26 p.m. on Wisconsin 81, Town of Darlington, for a lane blockage caused by a disabled vehicle.

• Randy R. Douglas, 56, Darlington, was cited for driving without proof of insurance at 9:43 p.m. at the intersection of County W and County P, Town of Monticello.

• Joshua R. Spillane, 28, Benton, was arrested on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and false imprisonment after deputies responded at 11:30 p.m. to a domestic dispute on County W in New Diggings. Spillane was jailed.
