Alan Brandt, 52, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated at 8:51 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, following a traffic stop on Ohio Street.

MONROE - Brandon W. Schlapbach, 28, Albany, was arrested on a third-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after officers stopped him in the 1500 block of 11th Street at 1:28 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3. He was also cited for driving with a revoked license and failing to display license plates. He was jailed pending cash bond.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 8:30 a.m. on County F in Seymour Township. An unknown pickup truck had damaged a cornfield.
Deputies responded at 10:06 a.m. to a report of an out-of-control 9-year-old at the Benton Schools on Alma Street.
A deputy assisted the Shullsburg Schools on Judgement Street at 12:15 p.m. with investigating a complaint of a 16-year-old male student bringing alcohol to the school grounds in a water bottle.
Elder abuse was reported at 1 p.m. on South Warren Street in South Wayne.
The burglary of a residence on West Grove Street in South Wayne was reported at 1:39 p.m.
An erratic driver was reported at 2:12 p.m. on Wisconsin 81 in Elk Grove Township. Darlington police assisted on the case.
An erratic driver on County O in Shullsburg Township was reported at 4:34 p.m.
A child playing with a phone at a residence on Water Street in Benton accidentally called 911 and hung up at 4:40 p.m. No emergency services were required.
A deputy responded to West Mound Road in Belmont Township at 6:40 p.m. in an attempt to locate a vehicle involved in a road rage incident. The suspect vehicle was not located.
Deputies responded at 9:45 p.m. to a residence on Furnace Hill Road in Willow Springs Township after a 911 hang-up call was received from the location.
