BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - For the week of Sept. 25 to Oct. 1, there were 49 calls for service, 47 citizen assists, 22 vehicle registrations, 20 security checks, 15 calls to 911, 12 assists of other agencies 11 traffic stops, and 11 EMS calls.

On Sept. 25:

• A noise complaint was made at 12:06 a.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• Damage to property was reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• An abandoned bicycle was found at 11:09 a.m. in the 600 block of West 2nd Avenue.

• A 33-year-old Oregon man was cited at 3:41 p.m. for speeding in the 600 block of East 9th Avenue.

• A 28-year-old Kenosha woman was cited at 9:35 p.m. for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street.

On Sept. 26:

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 3:36 p.m. in the 1700 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• Animal neglect was reported at 3:48 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Center Avenue. No signs of neglect were found.

• A 50-year-old Orangeville man was cited at 4:09 p.m. for failing to stop at a stop sign.

• A 23-year-old Clinton man was cited at 8:39 p.m. for driving with a suspended license and failing to obey a traffic signal in the 100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Sept. 27:

• Excess animals at a residence were reported at 1:44 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 2nd Avenue. No excess animals were found.

• An ordinance violation was reported at 5:38 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Wednesday:

• Excess animals at a residence were reported at 10:56 a.m. in the 1000 block of 12th Street. No excess animals were found.

• A 28-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 4:42 p.m. for driving with a revoked license, non-registration of a vehicle and displaying unauthorized vehicle registration in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Thursday:

• A parking complaint was made at 5:12 p.m. in the 600 block of East 8th Avenue. A warning was issued to the vehicle.

• A fraudulent phone call was reported at 6:35 p.m. in the 700 block of East 6th Avenue.

On Friday:

• A truant student was reported at 8:54 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

• Damage to property was reported at 10:36 a.m. in the 300 block of 4th Street when a vehicle parked at the high school had its tires slashed. The case remains under investigation.

• People soliciting without a permit were reported at 3:58 p.m. in the 1400 block of West 5th Avenue. A warning was issued to the offenders.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 4:19 p.m. in the 900 block of East 2nd Avenue.

On Saturday:

• A code violation was reported at 8:48 a.m. in the 600 block of East 6th Avenue. No violation could be found.

• A 35-year-old Oregon woman was cited at 1:23 p.m. for reckless driving in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - Dakota C. J. Lorenz, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 11:43 p.m. Friday for criminal damage to property and bail jumping after vandalism was reported in the 1100 block of 25th Avenue. Lorenz was jailed.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Sept. 25:

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 2:38 p.m. in the 800 block of 10th Avenue.

• Yashar Adriano, 26, Los Angeles, was cited at 3:38 p.m. for speeding in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69.

• A littering complaint was made at 5 p.m. in the 10 block of 5th Avenue.

• James W. Trudell, 36, New Glarus, was cited at 5:15 p.m. for disorderly conduct in the 400 block of 12th Avenue.

• Andrew S. Viney, 29, New Glarus, was cited at 8:39 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance in the 600 block of 6th Avenue.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 8:50 p.m. with a traffic stop.

• Police issued several parking citations throughout the day.

On Sept. 26:

• A black leather purse was reported missing at 10:21 a.m. at the Oktober Festival.

• A vehicle key was reported lost at 1:31 p.m. after the Oktober Festival.

• A 911 misdial occurred at 3:44 p.m. in the 1800 block of 2nd Street.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 6:55 p.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:45 p.m. in the 1800 block of 2nd Street.

On Sept. 27:

• James P. Bergum, 24, Dodgeville, was cited at 1 a.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on 6th Avenue.

• A boat was reported parked on a roadway at 1:55 p.m. on 12th Avenue. The boat was moved.

• Police received some contraband at 3:31 p.m. in the 1400 block of 2nd Street. The items were documented and then destroyed.

• Suspicious text messages were reported at 4 p.m. The sender was issued a warning.

• Cory A. Riley, 27, New Glarus, was cited for having a dog at large in the 500 block of 14th Avenue.

• Desirae L. Schneider, 29, Monroe, was cited at 7:32 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• A 911 hang-up occurred at 8:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Elmer Road.

• A civil dispute was reported at 8:31 p.m. in the 300 block of Elmer Road.

• Police assisted citizens with car problems at 9:17 p.m. in the 500 block of Railroad Street.

On Wednesday:

• Alysha M. Monahan, 20, Madison, was cited at 10:16 a.m. for illegal window tinting on Wis. 69.

• Adam J. Kruse, 29, Monroe, was cited at 1:15 p.m. for illegal window tinting on Wis. 69.

• Police removed an obstruction from the roadway at 2:56 p.m. on Wis. 69.

• Karen E. Murray, 63, Monticello, was cited at 3:23 p.m. for passing in a no-passing zone in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 3:55 p.m. in the 200 block of Industrial Drive.

• A 911 hang-up occurred at 7:38 p.m. in the 1400 block of 2nd Street.

• A vehicle was reported having been illegally entered at 10 p.m. in the 400 block of 3rd Street. No items were stolen, but citizens are advised to keep their vehicles locked when not in use.

On Thursday:

• Police investigated a suspicious vehicle at 12:19 a.m. in the high school parking lot.

• Police assisted a citizen at 8:36 a.m. with a traffic hazard on 2nd Street.

• Michael R. Dunlavey, 61, Monroe, was cited at 1:33 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• Christine K. Edler, 59, Monroe, was cited at 4:11 p.m. for a child restraint violation on Wis. 69.

• A suspicious person was reported at 5:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

On Friday:

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 9 a.m.

• Two illegally parked vehicles were reported at 9:04 a.m.

• A civil dispute was reported at 1:12 p.m.

• A misplaced cell phone was reported at 1:15 p.m.

• Jessica L. Aasve, 38, Monticello, was cited at 7:59 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

On Saturday:

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 5:59 p.m. in the 200 block of Industrial Drive.

• Robert L. Tepper, 56, De Forest, was cited at 10:48 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 69.

On Sunday, police assisted a citizen to his vehicle at 12 a.m. in the 400 block of 2nd Street.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday, Samantha J. Guinter, 26, Albany, was arrested at 1:22 p.m. on a probation hold in the 2800 block of 6th Street in Monroe.

On Saturday, Mikala L. McKee, 26, Monroe, was arrested at 3:21 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (first offense) in the W4500 block of Wis. 59, Town of Monroe. McKee was also cited for driving left of the centerline and with a prohibited alcohol concentration.

On Sunday:

• Gabrielle J. Brown, 22, Freeport, was cited at 8:14 a.m. for driving without a valid license in the N300 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno.

• Trevor L. Taylor, 18, was cited at 5:50 p.m. for driving at an unreasonable speed in the W3700 block of Wis. 11, Town of Sylvester.

• Jacob D. Morrison, 20, Albany, was cited at 5:50 p.m. for driving without proof of vehicle insurance, at an unreasonable speed and with a revoked license.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 7:33 a.m. on County K, Town of Gratiot.

• A deputy assisted the Belmont Police at 10:25 a.m. with a suspicious activity complaint on North Mound Avenue in Belmont.

• An animal bite was reported at 10:42 a.m. on Mill Street in Argyle.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 1:02 p.m. on County D, Town of Lamont.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 1:40 p.m. on Pecatonica Road, Town of Wiota.

• An erratic driver was reported at 4:33 p.m. on County H, Town of Elk Grove.

• A civil dispute was reported at 5:50 p.m. on West High Street in Shullsburg.

• Zachary D. Hudson, 23, South Wayne, was cited at 11:44 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

On Saturday:

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

• A traffic complaint was made at 3:58 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton.

• A 911 hang-up was made at 4:50 p.m. on West Liberty Street in Belmont.

On Sunday:

• A residential alarm was triggered at 6:49 a.m. on North Cody Street in Cuba City.

• A burglary was reported at 7:16 a.m. on County N, Town of Wiota.

• George L. Burris, 66, Shullsburg, was cited at 9:07 a.m. for failure to stop at a stop sign on South Judgement Street in Shullsburg.

• Livestock on the roadway were reported at 9:19 a.m. on Drybone Road, Town of Seymour.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 9:48 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 12:31 p.m. on County Shop Road in Darlington.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 2:25 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

• An attempted burglary was reported at 4:15 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

• A deputy responded at 4:45 p.m. to a noise complaint on Lake Road, Town of Argyle.

• A suspicious person was reported at 5:57 p.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.

• Julio C. Moctezuma, 44, Galena, Illinois, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. on a valid warrant and was released on bond.

• Danielle D. Brinkmeier, 21, Orangeville, was cited at 9:02 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

• A traffic complaint was made at 9:35 p.m. on Lake Road, Town of Argyle.
