A hit-and-run crash was reported at 5:54 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. No suspect vehicle has been identified.
Damage to a bike of unknown value was reported at 6:27 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

A Brodhead man, 28, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department at 6:38 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Center Avenue.

A Janesville man, 27, was cited for unsafe passing at 4:09 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.
A parking complaint was reported at 6:14 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue. The vehicle was parked on private property; no citations were issued.

Police responded at 10:44 p.m. to the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue for a welfare check on a person who was possibly driving while intoxicated. The subject was found to be sober.

NEW GLARUS - On Monday, Sept. 25:
A theft from an unsecured vehicle was reported at 8:48 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Avenue.
Ryan A. McKittrick, 42, Albany, was cited for driving with a suspended license and a seatbelt violation after police stopped him at 6:21 p.m. on Wisconsin 69 at 11th Avenue for a registration violation.
Andrew J. McMannes, 36, Monticello, was cited for operating a motor vehicle with an expired registration after police stopped him at 7:32 p.m. on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue for an equipment violation.
Nicholas G. Matthews, 55, Madison, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance after police stopped him at 8:42 p.m. on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue for an equipment violation.
Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Office with a dog found running loose in the Town of New Glarus at 8:50 p.m. The dog's owner was located.
On Tuesday, Sept. 26:
Police responded to Veteran's Park at 9:19 a.m. for a report of a suspicious male hanging around the memorial. The subject was gone by the time police arrived. However, police made contact with a juvenile who was supposed to be in school. Police made sure the juvenile checked into school.
At 10:32 a.m., police checked the welfare of a juvenile and investigated possible threats the juvenile had reportedly made in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.
Fraud/identity theft of a resident in the 1200 block of 5th Street was reported at 12:05 p.m.
Suspicious and possibly fraudulent phone calls being received at a residence in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue were reported at 5:54 p.m.
At 6:20 p.m., police received a report and description of a suspicious person walking on 13th Avenue with items that may be related to thefts that occurred in the village.
Police received a report at 7:06 p.m. of a suspicious truck that kept driving past the caller's residence several times in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue.
A lost cat was reported at 7:55 p.m. The cat went missing Saturday, Sept. 23 and was last seen in the 400 block of 12th Avenue. It is described as a male domestic shorthair, all black except for a white spot on its chest/neck. Anyone with information on the cat is asked to call the police department at 608-527-2145.
On Wednesday:
Police received a complaint at 5:13 p.m. of juveniles playing around the storage sheds on Railroad Street. Police advised the juveniles to move on.

Hansen, 44, Brodhead, turned himself in at 2:52 p.m. Saturday at the Green County Sheriff's Office for a Department of Corrections Probation and Parole warrant, Green County warrants for failure to pay child support, bail jumping, disorderly conduct and driving with a revoked license and Rock County warrants for obstructing and disorderly conduct. He was jailed pending court.
