Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Jose Luis Ortiz-Aburto, 28, Darlington, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 11, on Main Street for two warrants issued by Lafayette County. He posted bond and was released.

Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday, Oct. 11, code violation warnings were issued to a property owner in the 2200 block of 5th Avenue for having an overgrown yard with large thistles and to a resident in the 1000 block of 7th Avenue for having a vehicle parked on grass in the yard.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Christopher C. Murray, 29, Brodhead, was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license at 9:57 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, on Wisconsin 11 east of Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Spring Grove.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Oct. 11:

• Jason D. Hocking, 40, Benton, was transported at 10 a.m. from the Grant County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail on a probation and parole hold.

• Jodi R. Fitzsimons, 37, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license at 2:42 p.m. on County G in the Town of Argyle.

• Nicholas P. Tobias, 22, Wilmot, was cited for speeding at 4:23 p.m. on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

• Tristen Kay Miller, 17, Hazel Green, was cited for speeding at 7:13 p.m. on County W in the Town of Benton.

• A deputy responded at 5:40 p.m. to keep the peace during a civil dispute on West Main Street in Benton.
