Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Pedro Colorado-Fernandez, 18, Elgin, Illinois, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at 1:15 a.m. Sunday on Main Street.

• Nolan S. Joyce, 18, Sauk City, was cited for speeding at 5:25 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 23.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jonathan Paul Saxer, 32, South Wayne, was cited for littering after a deputy responded at 7:21 a.m. to the N2300 block of Schuetz Road, Town of Clarno, for a littering complaint from Cadiz Township that trash was being dumped along the roadside. The deputy discovered approximately a dozen bags of trash, obviously thrown into an adjacent corn field to avoid detection, and found information in one of the bags leading him to Saxer.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Christopher G. Johnson, 36, Monroe, was arrested in the 1200 block of 19th Street on a fourth-offense charge of driving while intoxicated, a felony, and cited for driving with a revoked license after police responded at 11:02 p.m. Monday to a report of a female in distress. Officers stopped Johnson's vehicle as he was fleeing the scene. After further investigation, Johnson was also charged with battery and domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct. He was jailed. In court Tuesday, his signature bond was set at $3,000, with the conditions that he not possess or consume alcohol or go into bars or liquor stores and not have contact with the victim or a residence in the 1600 block of 28th Avenue. Johnson's preliminary hearing is Nov. 3.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Sunday:

• Police received a complaint at 12:01 p.m. from a female juvenile that a male juvenile had taken her bicycle and was using it and would not give it back. Police made contact with the boy and warned him. The bicycle was returned.

• Possible child abuse was reported at 7:30 p.m. in the 400 block of 6th Avenue. Police determined that the incident had occurred in Lafayette County. The matter was turned over to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office.

• Anthony J. Stocks, 31, Apple River, Ill., was arrested in Grant County at 12:06 p.m. on a warrant issued by Lafayette County. He was jailed in Lafayette County.

• A deputy responded at 2:36 p.m. to Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs, for an animal injured on the road.

• A deputy responded at 2:37 p.m. to Van Buren Street in Benton for a welfare check.

• A deputy responded at 6:17 p.m. to South Judgement Street in Shullsburg for a parking complaint.

• Deputies responded at 11:53 p.m. to Main Street in Gratiot for a noise complaint.

On Saturday:

• A deputy responded at 12:58 a.m. to East Center Street in South Wayne for a noise complaint.

• A deputy responded at 6:49 a.m. to Robert Homb Memorial Drive in South Wayne to assist with traffic control.

• An erratic driver was reported at 8 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

• Animal neglect was reported at 11:11 a.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:10 p.m. on Twin Bridge Road, Town of New Diggings.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:16 p.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington.

• Valentin Martinez-Perez, 27, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license (second offense) at 5:58 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• Deputies responded at 7:35 p.m. to County G, Town of Willow Springs, for a welfare check.

• James L. Sweeney, 35, Monroe, was cited for driving without carrying a license at 7:43 p.m. on South Galena Street in South Wayne.

• An erratic driver was reported at 8:26 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Belmont police assisted on scene.

• Susan K. Morhardt, 45, Scales Mound, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 10:19 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

• Deputies responded at 1:15 a.m. to Main Street in Darlington to assist Darlington police with a welfare check.

• Paul M. Brandenburg, 27, Lakeview, Oregon, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated at 4:03 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

• Deputies responded at 7:02 a.m. to Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg, for a vehicle in the ditch.

• An animal running at large was reported at 8:38 a.m. on County H, Town of Benton.

• A theft was reported at 9:51 a.m. on North Mound Avenue in Belmont.

• Deputies responded at 10:28 a.m. to Chestnut Street in Belmont for a business alarm.
