• An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 7:33 a.m. on County U in Shullsburg Township.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 9:13 a.m. on County G in Kendall Township.

• Theft was reported at 10:31 a.m. on Prairie Road in Seymour Township.

• An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 12:50 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township.

• A deputy responded at 1:15 p.m. to East Hill Street in Blanchardville for a welfare check.

• Littering was reported at 1:20 p.m. on School Street in Gratiot.

• An animal problem was reported at 2:12 p.m. on County G in Belmont Township.

• An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 3:34 p.m. on County O in Seymour Township.

• An erratic driver was reported at 6:20 p.m. on County F in Fayette Township.

• An erratic driver was reported at 11:52 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Wayne Township.

• Debris in the roadway was reported at 1:19 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township.

• Debris in the roadway was reported at 2 p.m. on Hill Street in Darlington Township. Darlington Police assisted.

• A citizen assist complaint was reported at 2:03 p.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:47 p.m. on County F in Willow Springs Township.

• A theft complaint was reported at 3:51 p.m. on Galena Street in Argyle.

• A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 4:24 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 5:28 p.m. on Stump Grove Road in Shullsburg Township.

• Debris on the roadway was reported at 8:30 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.

• Enos D. Showalter, 69, South Wayne, was cited for no proof of insurance at 9:17 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township.

• Kenneth L. Kotte, 40, Albany, was cited for speeding at 11:33 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township.

On Sunday:

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 1:20 a.m. on North Lake Road in Fayette Township.

• A deputy responded at 2:04 a.m. to Miner Way in Shullsburg for a 911 misdial. Shullsburg Police assisted.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 2:08 a.m. to Clay Street in Darlington where deputies assisted Darlington Police.

• Deputies responded at 3:11 a.m. to West Mound View Avenue in Belmont for a 911 misdial.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 11:09 a.m. on County F in Fayette Township.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 1:58 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township. Jacinto Gomez-Lopez, 26, Hazel Green, was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct. Gomez-Lopez was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was released on a cash bond. Darlington Police assisted.

• An injured animal on the roadway was reported at 6:41 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Wayne Township.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:48 p.m. on County K in Darlington Township.

• A deputy responded at 9:23 p.m. to County I in New Diggings Township for a welfare check.

• A possible ATV accident was reported at 9:52 p.m. to County O in Kendall Township. Belmont Fire, Belmont Police and Belmont Ambulance assisted. All units were later disregarded.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 10:16 p.m. to South Judgement Street in Shullsburg.

On Monday:

• Suspicious activity was reported at 4:41 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Shullsburg Township.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 5:33 a.m. on Rock Road in Kendall Township.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:46 a.m. on County I in Elk Grove Township.

• A deputy responded at 8:17 a.m. to Furnace Hill Road in Willow Springs Township for an alarm.

• A traffic complaint was reported at 9:22 a.m. on Wis. 81 in Elk Grove Township.

• Deputies assisted Darlington Police at 2:31 p.m. on Wis. 23 for a welfare check.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:18 p.m. on County F in Fayette Township.

• Bobby O. Parker, Jr., 18, Darlington, was cited for driving without proof of insurance at 5:10 p.m. on Country Club Road in Darlington Township.

• A traffic complaint was reported at 5:28 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township.

• Brian D. Rose, 47, Union Grove, was cited for speeding at 7:20 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township.

• Riley W. Jones, 16, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 7:32 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Argyle Township.

• A domestic dispute was reported at 10:18 p.m. on County XX in Belmont Township. Belmont Police assisted.

• Deputies assisted Green County at 11:49 p.m. on Dill Road with a welfare check.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Jeremy Heins, 34, Gratiot, was cited for display of power and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:07 p.m. on County K in Darlington.

• John James Binning, 52, Argyle, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, having an open intoxicant and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:45 p.m. on Wis. 23. He was released pending court.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Oct. 30:

• Police unlocked a vehicle at 12 p.m. in the 1300 block of 2nd Street.

• Police received complaints at 3:16 p.m. in regard to a juvenile making comments on social media that he was going to harm someone. The incident was investigated and the juvenile advised he was joking. A juvenile referral was completed and referred for charges of disorderly conduct.

• Anthony J. Lewis, 32, Monticello, was arrested for felony bail jumping at 6:33 p.m. in the 400 block of 6th Avenue. Lewis was transported and booked into the Green County Jail.

• New Glarus Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 10:46 p.m. in the N7800 block of Wis. 69 for a semi partially in the ditch and blocking traffic in both directions. The vehicle was removed by a tow truck and the highway was reopened.

On Oct. 31:

• Police assisted a motorist with jump starting their vehicle at 1:17 a.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

• A lost cell phone was reported at 8:06 p.m. while the owner was trick-or-treating.

On Nov. 1:

• Suspicious activity was reported at 11:16 p.m. in the dumpster area of the Monroe Clinic-New Glarus branch. No one was found upon arrival.

• Hazard in the roadway was reported at 11:35 p.m. in the 1300 block of Wis. 69.

On Thursday:

• Andrew C. Baker, 32, New Glarus, was cited for possession of marijuana after a report of a suspicious item was found at 9:04 a.m. in the area of 2nd Street in New Glarus.  

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 5:57 p.m. with a reported suicidal juvenile in New Glarus Township.

• Police responded at 7:12 p.m. to the 1700 block of 2nd Street for a911 call. It turned out to be an accident.

On Friday:

• New Glarus assisted the Green County Sheriff at 10:33 a.m. on 2nd Avenue with a welfare check.

• A missing white Shih Tzu Terrier type dog was reported at 1:05 p.m. in the 1200 block of 1st street.

• A hazard in the roadway was removed at 3:33 p.m. in the 500 block of Wis. 69.

• A woman's wallet was found at 4:39 p.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69. Contact was made with the owner.

• New Glarus Police responded to a medical call at 7:23 p.m. in the 1100 block of 5th Street.

• A dog barking in a parked vehicle was reported at 8:05 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 9:18 p.m. in the area of 1st Street and 9th Avenue.

On Saturday:

• Two parking citations were issued at 2:35 a.m. in the downtown area for violation of the no parking 2 to 6 a.m. ordinance.

• A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 9:27 a.m. in the 1400 block of Hwy 65. The vehicle was out when the office arrived. It was determined the operator misjudged the driveway entrance and slid into the ditch.

• Police responded to a 911 call at 3:31 p.m. in the 300 block of 6th Avenue.

• Police responded to a general security alarm at 4:21 p.m. in the 200 block of Industrial Avenue. Everything was fine.

• Police responded at 10:44 p.m. to the 800 block of 10th Avenue for a medical call.

On Sunday:

• Police responded to a 911 call at 12:05 a.m. to the 400 block of 2nd Street. It was an accidental dial.

• Police responded at 12:25 a.m. to the 600 block of 5th Avenue for a subject sitting on a curb in the dark. The subject was not located.

• Mitchell T. White, 19, Blanchardville, was cited for no seatbelt and no insurance at 11:18 a.m. in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Police responded to a medical call at 3:14 p.m. to the 400 block of 7th Avenue.
