MONROE POLICE

MONROE - Gene A. Rood, 47, Monroe, was arrested for a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department at about 11 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of 30th Avenue. He posted the required bond and was released.

• Nylon G. Warren, 20, Rockford, Ill., was arrested for theft at about 1:30 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Eighth Street West. Warren was released pending court.

• Miriam Martinez Rodriguez, 24, Monroe, was arrested for theft at about 6 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Eighth Street West. She was jailed.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - A 14-year-old Madison male and 14-year-old Albany female were cited for driving without a valid license following a traffic stop at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday in the N7500 block of Wisconsin 104. They were released to an adult family member.

• Deputies took reports of 12 mailboxes damaged Friday in the Juda and Brodhead areas. Anyone with information can contact the Green County Sheriff's Department at 328-9400.
