BRODHEAD - For the week of Nov. 1 to 7, there were 116 calls for service, 26 citizen assists, 19 registrations, 14 security checks, 10 assists of other agencies, six 911 calls, five EMS calls, three traffic stops and two fire calls.
On Nov. 2, an 18-year-old Browntown man was cited at 3:53 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street for speeding.
On Nov. 3:
A 26-year-old Brodhead woman was arrested at 8:04 a.m. in the 2200 block of West 5th Avenue on a charge of retail theft from a business in the 800 block of 25th Street. She was also arrested on a commitment issued by the Brodhead Municipal Court for failing to pay a forfeiture on a charge of issuing worthless checks.
A cell phone was found at 3:50 p.m. in the 400 block of 1st Center Avenue. The phone was returned to its owner.
On Wednesday:
A juvenile runaway was reported at 12:45 a.m. in the 600 block of East 6th Avenue. The juvenile was located later and turned over to a responsible party.
An incident of disorderly conduct was reported at 9:17 a.m. in the 1900 block of 1st Center Avenue. An individual was upset about not being able to obtain a prescription. A warning was issued to the individual.
A burning violation was reported at 4:56 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 2nd Avenue. A warning was issued to the offender.
Two dogs at large were reported at 7:24 p.m. in the 1000 block of East 9th Avenue. The animals were apprehended and transported to the police station, where the owner retrieved them a short time later.
On Thursday, a disturbance was reported at 5:57 p.m. in a parking lot in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police contacted the offenders and the issue was resolved.
On Friday, a dog at large was reported at 2:21 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 4th Avenue. The owner was issued a warning.
DARLINGTON POLICE
DARLINGTON - Jose Luis Velazquez-Lopez, 47, Darlington, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Sunday on charges of fourth-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct. He was released pending court.
MONROE POLICE
MONROE - On Friday, Kortney L. Mason-Blankenhorn, 21, and Rory S. Privett, 22, both of Monroe, were arrested at 11:08 p.m. in the 600 block of 22nd Avenue on warrants issued by Trempealeau County for contempt of court. Both were jailed.
NEW GLARUS POLICE
NEW GLARUS - On Nov. 2:
Police took a report of attempted prescription fraud at 10:25 a.m. and forwarded the issue to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Police found an iPhone at 12:15 p.m. and encourage anybody missing an iPhone to contact the New Glarus Police Department.
Nicole A. Coby, 29, New Glarus, was cited at 4:48 p.m. at the intersection of Railroad Street and 6th Avenue for driving with a suspended license.
An alarm was triggered at 8:21 p.m. at a business in the Village. It was found to be an accidental alarm and no emergency was detected.
Police checked a juvenile's welfare at 8:36 p.m. in the 800 block of Wis. 69.
On Nov. 3:
A 911 call was made at 12:44 p.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street. The call was determined to have been made in error as nobody reported an emergency.
Naomi R. Balderas, 32, New Glarus, was cited at 8:30 p.m. for violating driver's license restrictions after being stopped for an equipment violation.

Officers assisted the Iowa County Sheriff's Office at 9:58 a.m. with attempting to locate a vehicle involved in a gas drive-off in Hollandale. The vehicle was not located.
A dog bite to a juvenile was reported at 2:12 p.m. in the 10 block of 6th Avenue. The dog's owner was issued a dog bite order and the issue was referred to the Green County Health Department.

Police assisted with locating a juvenile who ran away from school in the 1400 block of 2nd Street at 10:32 a.m.

On Saturday, Johnathan T. Sutherland, 22, Albany, was arrested at 9:09 a.m. in the 300 block of West Main Street in Albany on a Green County warrant. He was jailed.
