MONROE - Jerry V. Coplien, 23, Orangeville, was arrested at 9:21 p.m. Thursday for theft in the 1000 block of 9th Street. Coplien was released pending court.

MONROE - Kevin Wayne Rockwood, 40, Sun Prairie, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Thursday for driving while intoxicated, third offense, after deputies were called to the intersection of County C and County E, Brooklyn Township, for a report of a man who was slumped over the wheel. Rockwood was also cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle and driving with a revoked license. State court records indicate Rockwood was convicted of second offense DWI on Aug. 27. He was released pending court.

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 9:38 a.m. on County G, Kendall Township.
• A deputy assisted Human Services at 2:20 p.m. at a residence on Mau Road, Wayne Township.
• A deputy assisted a motorist by unlocking their vehicle at 6:12 p.m. on west Moundview Avenue, Village of Belmont.
