BRODHEAD - On April 19:

♦ Bail jumping was reported at 1:17 p.m. in the 700 block of McEwen Street. A subject was receiving calls in violation of a bond condition. The matter remains under investigation.

On April 20:

♦ A 20-year-old Brodhead woman was warned for trespassing at 4:25 p.m. in the 800 block of 12th Street.

♦ A dog at large was reported at 6:08 p.m. in the 1400 block of 11th Street. The owner was contacted and a warning was issued.

♦ A traffic complaint was reported at 6:21 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue. Tailgating and speeding violations were reported. Police did not witness any violations.

♦ Disorderly conduct was reported at 7:33 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. A male subject reported he was approached by another subject and threatened. No charges were requested.

On April 21:

♦ A hazard was reported at 3:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of West 3rd Avenue. Juveniles were reportedly lying in the roadway. Contact was made and a warning was issued to both juveniles.

♦ A traffic complaint was reported at 3:38 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue. Crossing the center line was the reported violation. Police responded, but did not witness any violations.

♦ A gas drive off was reported at 7:59 p.m. to the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police made contact with the driver and the matter was resolved.

♦ For the week of April 22 to April 28, the Brodhead Police Department reported six calls for service, seven follow up to incidents, 17 vehicle registrations, 49 citizen assists, 28 security checks, 15 assist other agencies, 11 traffic stops, seven 911 calls, eight fire calls and six EMS calls.

On April 22:

♦ An animal problem was reported at 12:53 p.m. in the 400 block of East 2nd Avenue. A subject was bitten by a dog. This matter was referred to the health department.

♦ A barking dog was reported at 8:24 p.m. in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue. The god left the area prior to an officer's arrival.

♦ Theft was reported at 9:38 p.m. in the 1300 block of 20th Street. A stroller of an undisclosed value was taken. This matter remains under investigation.

On April 23:

♦ Disorderly conduct was reported at 5:04 p.m. in the 900 block of West Exchange Street. Two subjects were arguing. Contact was made and both parties were issued warnings.

On April 24:

♦ Truancy was reported at 8:32 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. Contact was made with two individuals and warnings were issued.

♦ A 15-year-old was cited for truancy at 8:33 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

♦ A traffic complaint of a person driving at a high rate of speed was reported at 5:18 p.m. in the 2500 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police did not witness any violation.

On April 25:

♦ A dog at large was reported at 6:42 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 5th Avenue. The dog at large attacked another dog but no injuries were reported. This matter remains under investigation.

On April 26:

♦ Disorderly conduct was reported at 4:45 p.m. in the 900 block of 13th Street. A juvenile male was causing a disturbance. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.

♦ A traffic hazard was reported at 7:54 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue. A juvenile was riding a battery powered scooter and was hard to see. Police were unable to locate the juvenile on the scooter.

On April 27:

♦ Theft was reported at 1:50 p.m. in the 400 block of 2nd Street. An item valued over $30 was removed from the property after being delivered. This matter remains under investigation.

♦ Disorderly conduct was reported at 2:52 p.m. in the 400 block of 2nd Street. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.

♦ A possible intoxicated person was reported at 9:23 p.m. in the 700 block of East 3rd Avenue. A male subject was reportedly walking/stumbling through back yards. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the subject.

♦ A traffic complaint of a person driving at a high rate of speed was reported at 11:04 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police did not witness an violation.

On April 28:

♦ A gas drive off was reported at 7:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. This matter remains under investigation.
