MONROE POLICE

MONROE - Thomas C. Smith, 64, Monroe, was arrested at 3:53 p.m. Monday for driving while intoxicated (third offense) and was cited for driving with a revoked license in the 1000 block of 15th Avenue. Smith was jailed.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• A deputy assisted the Darlington Police at 8:40 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

• A civil dispute was reported at 9:14 a.m. on County Y, Town of Wiota.

• A 911 hang-up occurred at 11:13 a.m. on Bennett Road, Town of New Diggings.

• Debris on the roadway was reported at 2:45 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 6:03 p.m. on County O, Town of Kendall.

• A suspicious person was reported at 10:08 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• A deputy assisted the Belmont Police at 10:25 p.m. with a traffic stop on Stonehill Drive in Belmont.
