Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• Timothy J. Schwarz, 28, Brodhead, was cited at 2:35 a.m. for driving after suspension, third offense, and no proof of insurance after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the W2900 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Jefferson.

• Mario M. Deleon Depaz, 44, Beloit, was cited at 6:36 a.m. for driving without a driver's license, second offense, after he was stopped for a moving violation in the W5000 block of Wis. 11, Monroe Township.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• A deputy responded to a theft complaint at 12:08 a.m. from a residence on County F, Blanchard Township.

• A deputy assisted Darlington police with a welfare check at 2:36 a.m. at a residence on Washington Street, Darlington.

• A deputy was dispatched at 6:25 a.m. for a traffic complaint of an erratic driver on County Y, Wiota Township.

• A deputy and his K-9 unit Cody assisted several agencies in Grant County with a K-9 search at 8:33 a.m.

• A deputy assisted Darlington police by responding at 9:17 a.m. to Darlington Schools for a 911 hang-up call.

• A deputy assisted a motorist by unlocking a vehicle at 11:22 a.m. at a location on County G, Belmont Township.

• A deputy was dispatched at 4:42 p.m. for a complaint of several dogs running at large on South Division Street, South Wayne.

• Cody A. Kirschbaum, 25, Albany, was arrested at 6:54 p.m. for driving after revocation on Wis. 11, South Wayne. A passenger in the vehicle, James M. Hurtley, 25, Janesville, was arrested for a Department of Corrections probation violation. Online court records indicate Hurtley was on probation from a previous conviction passed down on Jan. 22, for third-degree sexual assault. Both Hurtley and Kirschbaum remain jailed. A second passenger, Tasha J. Grinnell, 25, South Wayne, was arrested and later released. All three subjects face additional charges as the case remains under investigation.
