Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, March 6:

• Marvin Amaya-Mendez, 27, Darlington, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. for driving after revocation, second offense, following a traffic stop on Galena Street.

• Jose Hernandez-Herna, 17, Darlington, was cited at 3:45 p.m. for driving after suspension following a traffic stop on Galena Street.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Thursday, March 6:

• Christy L. Schultz, Monroe, 36, was stopped for speeding in the N6300 block of Wis. 69, Town of Mount Pleasant.

• Deputies responded to a residence at 8:51 p.m. in the W6500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe, for a report of vehicle theft. The vehicle is a tan, 2009, Dodge Ram 1500, taken from the residence.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, March 6:

• A deputy assisted Darlington Police at 11:42 a.m. at the scene of a traffic stop on Galena Street, Darlington.

• A deputy assisted Darlington Police at 2:30 p.m. with checking the welfare of an intoxicated male walking in the roadway of County F, Darlington.

• A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up call at a residence on Ohnstad Lane, Darlington at 8:45 p.m. The call was an accidental dialing from a cellphone. Darlington Police assisted with the call.

• A deputy responded at 10:10 p.m. to Wis. 11, Shullsburg Township for an erratic driver complaint. The vehicle was not located.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday, March 6:

• Nathaniel J. T. Meyer, 34, Sheboygan, was arrested at 9:31 a.m. in the 1100 block of 7th Avenue, for a warrant issued through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was also charged with forgery after he allegedly passed a stolen and forged check of another person to a third party. The incident remains under investigation. Meyer was jailed pending court.

• Police investigated a fraud complaint at 4:55 p.m. in the 1800 block of 12th Street. The victim alleges they discovered unauthorized charges on a debit card account. The victim is a Monroe resident, but transactions appear to have occurred in other communities.
