MONROE - Police responded to a report of theft at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday, March 5 at a residence in the 900 block of 22nd Avenue. A person or persons unknown had entered the residence by force and a large jar filled with U.S. coins of an unspecified amount was missing. The theft may have occurred over the last two days, March 3-5.

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday, March 5:

• Deputies responded at 12:32 a.m. to a threat to injure complaint on North Warrant Street, Village of South Wayne. While deputies were en route, dispatch received a call to the same residence, requesting an ambulance. The call was unrelated to the prior complaint. South Wayne First Response, Monroe Ambulance and the Darlington Police Department assisted at the scene.

• A deputy responded at 7:40 a.m. to a report of livestock on the roadway on County D, Wayne Township.

• Deputies assisted the Cheektowaga Police Department with attempting to locate a subject at 12:05 p.m. on U.S. 151.

• A deputy responded to an animal neglect complaint at 1:55 p.m. on Pleasant View Lane, Belmont Township.
