Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday, March 28:

- A 16-year-old Monroe boy was cited at 12:25 p.m. for shoplifting condoms from Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W. He reportedly broke open a box of condoms valued at about $8. He was later released to a parent pending court.

- A 16-year-old runaway was reported at 9:54 a.m. from the 1500 block of 12th Avenue, but she had returned home by 1:30 p.m. The case was referred to juvenile intake.

- A dog at large was reported in the 2600 block of 17th Avenue at 2:42 p.m. The officer who responded could not locate the dog.

- Police were called at 8:18 p.m. to a civil dispute at the intersection of 12th Street and 16th Avenue. A woman and man were trying to trade vehicles but ran into a problem with the title to his vehicle. The transaction couldn't be completed and she drove off.

- A friendly female pitbull or Boxer-type dog was reported found in the 2700 block of 22nd Avenue at 8:50 p.m. It was transported to the Green County Humane Society.

- A resident in an apartment complex in the 1500 block of 11th Street reported at 10:32 p.m. that someone, possibly the ex-boyfriend of a girl who resides there, had written a derogatory word with soap or chalk on the glass entry door to the complex. It was washed off.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, March 28:

- Lisa M. Pfaff, 24, Gratiot, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 11:50 p.m. to a domestic disturbance on County K in Gratiot Township. She was jailed. Darlington police and Argyle police assisted at the scene.

- A deputy responded at 10:45 a.m. to Wisconsin 81 in Seymour Township to check the welfare of a person walking on the highway.

- A deputy assisted Shullsburg police at 1:42 p.m. by keeping the peace during a civil dispute on West Harrison Street in Shullsburg.

- A theft was reported at 3:55 p.m. on Wis. 78 in Argyle Township.

- A deputy responded at 6:58 p.m. to County X in Belmont Township for a traffic complaint of mud on the highway.
