Monroe Police

MONROE - Brendon D. Collins, 17, Monroe, was arrested due to a warrant for his arrest issued by the Albany Police Department around 2 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of 15th Avenue. He was jailed.

• Erica M. Harris, 21, Argyle, was arrested for obstructing an officer around 6 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of 12th Street and 24th Avenue. She was released pending court appearance.

• Linze M. Helley, 23, Albany, was cited for theft around 11:15 a.m. Thursday at ShopKo. She was released pending court appearance.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Duayne E. Veer, 44, and Janet L. Ihus, 46, both of Darlington, were arrested around 2 a.m. Thursday following a disturbance at a residence on County F in Fayette township. Veer was charged with domestic abuse disorderly conduct. Ihaus was charged with domestic abuse disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were jailed.

• Thomas H. Bennet, 36, and Jacqueline K. Bennet. 33, both of Belmont, were taken in to custody around 8:30 p.m. Thursday on County XX in Belmont township for outstanding Grant County warrants. Both were transported and turned over to the custody of a Grant County deputy in Platteville.

• Deputies assisted the Darlington Police Department around 8:30 p.m. Thursday with an attempt to locate a male suspect involved in a disturbance on Wells Street in Darlington. The suspect was not located.

• A deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint around 3 p.m. on County F in Fayette township.

• A deputy checked on the welfare of a female juvenile around 9:30 p.m. on Tama Run in Darlington township.

• A deputy checked on the welfare of a male juvenile around 4:30 p.m. at a residence on County D in Lamont township.

Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Alex Mendez-Garcia, 25, Darlington, and Salvador Alonso-Ortiz, 22, Darlington, were arrested for disorderly conduct and battery around 8 a.m. Sunday, March 23, following a disturbance involving a knife.

• Pedro Valasquez-Garcia, 31, Darlington, was arrested around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, March 23, following a domestic disturbance on Ohio Street. Valesquez-Garcia faces disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property charges.

• Anthony Walker, 26, Darlington, was arrested around 6 p.m. Thursday, March 27 with an arrest warrant issued by Columbia County.

• Norma Alvarez-San Juan, 28, Gratiot, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license following a traffic stop on Wells Street around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 25.

• An officer responded to a report of a disturbance at a local laundromat around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27. Police report Mike Adams, 30, Shullsburg, allegedly entered the laundromat, uttered racially-biased and profane remarks at customers, removed laundry from machines and threw it onto the sidewalk. The matter was referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney for disorderly conduct charges.

Albany Police

ALBANY - Police arrested Bradford E. Child II, 37, 304 S. Mechanic, Albany, on a warrant for failure to pay child support.
