Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday, March 11:

• Rob S. Nordeng, 44, Beloit, was arrested at 6:05 a.m. for two warrants issued by the Rock County Sheriff's Department for failure to appear in court. Nordeng was stopped by a deputy for a moving violation in the W500 block of Wis. 81, Town of Spring Grove. Nordeng was turned over to a Rock County deputy. Brodhead Police assisted at the scene.

• Linda M. Swedlund, 41, no permanent address, was arrested at 8:23 a.m. at the parole office of the Green County Justice Center on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. She was confined in the Green County Jail.

• Rickey L. Coggins, 40, rural Brodhead, was arrested at 11:27 a.m. at the parole office in the Green County Justice Center on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Coggins was confined in the Green County Jail.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, March 11:

• A deputy responded to Monroe Clinic at 2:34 a.m. for a welfare check of an individual who had been involved in an incident at a residence on West Pleasant Street, South Wayne.

• A deputy assisted Belmont Police with a theft investigation at a location on West Liberty Street, Belmont.

• A deputy took a report at 11:05 a.m. of a dog running at large on Hickory Drive Road, Belmont Township.

• A deputy assisted Belmont Police at 12:30 p.m. with a welfare check at a residence on Wood Street, Belmont.

• Stephen B. Washington, 24, Belmont, was cited at 1:36 p.m. for driving while suspended on Mound Avenue, Belmont.

• A deputy assisted with a welfare check of an individual at 12:30 p.m. at a residence on Wis. 11, Gratiot Township.

• A deputy investigated several vehicles parked along the roadway at 8:24 p.m. on Wis. 11, Gratiot Township.

• A deputy responded to a complaint at 10:49 p.m. of an abandoned vehicle on U.S. 151, Belmont Township. The vehicle was disabled and tow services were notified.
