Kathy M. Martin, 44, Browntown, was arrested Saturday, March 9, on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol level and inattentive driving.
Paula C. Divine, 44, Madison, was cited Saturday, March 9, for driving with a suspended license.

BRODHEAD - Cody L. Saunders, 26, Brodhead, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated at 2:26 a.m. Sunday, March 3, in the 800 block of 1st Street. He was also cited for unsafe lane deviation.
Shawn M. Oller, 38, Brodhead, was arrested on a probation hold and multiple charges at 2:27 a.m. Saturday, March 9, in the 500 block of 12th Street. He was jailed. He faces felony charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety with the use of a dangerous weapon and causing bodily harm by substantial battery. He also faces misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon. His initial court appearance is Tuesday, March 12.
Chad M. Folstad, 30, Brodhead, was cited for his second offense of making loud and unnecessary noise at 10:25 p.m. Sunday, March 3.
Holly J. Heider, 40, Brodhead, was cited Monday, March 4, for not licensing a dog.
Elizabeth A. Kuhse, 44, Brodhead, and a juvenile female were cited for truancy at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday, March 6.

MONROE - Michelle M. Apodaca, 19, Freeport, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 12:14 a.m. Saturday, March 9, in the 1600 block of 15th Street. She was also arrested on charges of obstructing an officer, possessing drug paraphernalia, having a defective headlamp and driving without a valid license. Arresting officers report she provided a fake ID and was found with marijuana paraphernalia in the vehicle. She was released to a responsible party pending court.
Annice G. Mau, 55, Albany, was cited for shoplifting $57 in merchandise from Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W., after police were called to the store at 12:38 p.m. Saturday, March 9.
Grayson K. Privett, 17, Monroe, was cited for trespassing in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West after officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Walmart parking lot at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, March 9. Privott is under a court order not to be at Walmart.

Police responded at 12:56 a.m. Saturday, March 9, to a 911 call from a person at Taco Bell, 606 W. 8th St., reporting that someone was sleeping in a car near the restaurant. The 54-year-old Browntown man had been drinking alcohol and fell asleep. Police gave him a ride home.
A motor vehicle theft was reported at 9:24 a.m. Saturday, March 9, outside Papa Don's Horseshoe Saloon, 1901 10th Ave. A woman told police she started her car to warm it up, then went back inside the bar. When she came out, the vehicle was gone. Officers located it about a block away, undamaged. No one was charged. Evidence suggests it may have been a prank.
Police assisted a 24-year-old woman from Rockford and a 25-year-old man from Aurora with finding a safe ride home after the couple showed up intoxicated at the Monroe Clinic ER to pick up a friend at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, March 10.
An officer found a dead duck lying in the road at Wisconsin 69 and 8th Street at 6:46 a.m. Sunday, March 10. The bird had been hit by a car. The streets department was called in to remove it.

NEW GLARUS - Jesse W. Bodenmann, 19, New Glarus, was cited for illegal tinting of vehicle windows at 3:21 p.m. Friday, March 8, in the 800 block of Wis. 69.
Lars K. Hansen, 42, New Glarus, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance after police stopped him for an equipment violation on 6th Avenue at 3rd Street at 5:26 p.m. Friday, March 8.
Tamra J. Fox, 45, Mount Horeb, was cited for speeding and driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 9, in the 1200 block of Wis. 69.
Vandalism at a local residence was reported at 10:05 p.m. Monday, March 4.

MONROE - Dalton L. Weidner, 26, Monroe, was arrested at a residence in the N400 block of Shueyville Road in the Clarno Township at 4:54 p.m. Friday, March 8, on a warrant issued by Jo Daviess County, Ill., for failure to appear in court. He was jailed pending extradition.
Ian S. Henderson, 29, Albany, was arrested on a felony charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on County E at County C in the Brooklyn Township at 9:04 p.m. Saturday, March 9. He has three DWI convictions on his record, with the most recent in 2010. He was also cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, driving without vehicle insurance and keeping open intoxicants in the vehicle. He was jailed. He pleaded not guilty to the charges in court Monday, March 11. His signature bond was set at $2,000 with the conditions that he not drink or enter any establishment where primarily alcohol is sold. He must also "surrender his brewing system" as a condition of bond. His preliminary hearing is April 4.
Clark W. Schaller, 24, rural Monticello, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while under the influence of a drug or multiple drugs, after a deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction in the N3300 block of Wis. 69 in Monroe Township at 8:43 p.m. Sunday, March 10. Schaller was also charged with felony bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was jailed pending court. In court Monday, March 11, his cash bond was set at $500 and his signature bond at $4,500. His preliminary hearing is March 21.

Le was westbound when he lost control while attempting to make a turn. He hit a guard rail, causing the vehicle severe damage. He was uninjured.

DARLINGTON - James M. McDonald, 20, Cuba City, was cited for inattentive driving after a deputy responded to a two-vehicle accident on County J in Benton at 5:11 a.m. Saturday, March 11. He rearended a vehicle driven by Helen M. Hocking, 80, Benton. McDonald reported he fell asleep prior to hitting her vehicle. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
