GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - Saul Sanchez, 25, Beloit, was cited for operating with a suspended driver's license, following a traffic stop at about 4:30 a.m. Monday on Wis. 11 near County G in Spring Grove township. Sanchez was released pending court. A passenger in the vehicle, Ricardo Sanchez-Castano, 32, Beloit, was arrested on a warrant issued through the Beloit Police Department for failure to appear in court. Ricardo was turned over to the Beloit Police Department.

• Brandon M. Miller, 31, Brodhead, was arrested for two outstanding arrest warrants at about 7:15 p.m. Monday at his residence in the City of Brodhead. One warrant was from Albany Police Department for operating an ATV on the roadway. The other warrant was from Orfordville Police Department for issuance of worthless checks. Miller was able to post bond for both warrants and was released.              

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - Timothy N. Reuber, 52, Shullsburg, was cited for no valid driver's license at about 7:30 p.m. Monday on County W in White Oaks Springs township.

• Mitchell A. Lange, 22, Darlington, was cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle at about 3:15 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs township.

• Tracy L. Wiegel White, 38, Darlington, was cited for driving after suspension at about 4 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township.

• Michael J. Kopetko, 16, Benton, was cited for violating a driver's license permit at about 10 p.m. Friday on County J in Benton.

• A 15-year-old male and 16-year-old male, both of Benton, were cited for curfew violations at about midnight Saturday on West Main Street in Benton. They were released to a parent.

• A 15-year-old female was taken into custody for underage drinking at about 6 a.m. Sunday in Benton. She was released to a parent.

NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - Brian Vetter, 19, Belleville, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle, (expired plates) after a traffic stop for a traffic violation at about 8 p.m. March 2 on Sixth Avenue near Fifth Avenue.

• A juvenile was referred to the Juvenile Intake Authorities on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damages to property after police responded to a call of an uncontrollable at about 7:45 p.m. March 4 at a residence on Third Street. Investigation revealed the 10-year-old juvenile had been throwing items in the home, breaking a window and acting in a violent manner.

• Evan D. Pinnow, 17, rural New Glarus, was cited for minor in possession of tobacco products, after officers observed him smoking a cigarette at about 8:45 a.m. March 5 in the 1700 block of Second Street.

• Officers witnessed a vehicle spin its tires on grass at the high school and speed off at a high rate of speed, causing damage to the school lawn at about 8:45 p.m. March 5 in the 1700 block of Second Street. Police were unable to locate the vehicle, but have identified a suspect in the case, which remains under investigation.

• Police received a complaint of a theft at about 11:45 p.m. March 5 on Sixth Avenue near Railroad Street. Investigation revealed that a key and a food stamp card had been stolen from a parked vehicle, which the owner reported had been locked. There were no signs of forced entry and a suspect has been identified in the matter. The case is being referred to the Green County District Attorney's office for review and recommendation of charges.

• Josephine Crotez, 40, Beloit, was cited for operating without a valid driver's license, following a traffic stop for a traffic violation, at about 3:45 p.m. March 6 on Wis. 69 near 11th Avenue.

• Keith J. Bender, 17, and a 16-year-old male, both of Belleville, were cited for minor in possession of tobacco products, after police discovered both in possession of cigarettes and chewing tobacco, following a traffic stop at about 10:15 p.m. March 6 on Second Street near Fourth Avenue.

• Brian E. Venden, 30, New Glarus, reported in person at about 8 p.m. March 8 to the New Glarus Police Department in regard to a civil warrant issued by Green County. Venden completed a financial disclosure, which was forwarded to the Green County Sheriff's Department, and released from custody.
