Monroe Police
MONROE - On Saturday:
Brady R. Whipple, 26, Monroe, was arrested at 2:26 a.m. for obstructing an officer in the 1400 block of 17th Street. Whipple was released pending court.
Joseph A. Banuelos, 32, Monroe, was arrested at 3:12 p.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property in the 2500 block of 8th Street. Banuelos was also arrested on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was jailed pending court.
On Sunday:
Wayne A. Ufken, 56, Monroe, was arrested at 12:35 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, first offense, in the 700 block of 21st Street. Ufken was also cited for driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, driving left of center and possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle.
Bryan S. Wehe, 24, Browntown, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. for bail jumping and possessing drug paraphernalia in the 600 block of Wisconsin 69. Wehe was jailed pending court.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE - On Friday:
Deputies responded at 1:09 a.m. to a vehicle in the ditch at the intersection of Wis. 104 and County C, Town of Brooklyn. Before the deputies' arrival the vehicle was able to get out of the ditch and had continued southbound. Andrew S. Hafferty, 28, Rockford, was stopped for multiple violations and arrested for DWI, second offense. Hafferty was also cited for unreasonable speed, failure to maintain control of a vehicle, failure to dim headlights and driving left of center. He was released to a responsible party pending court.
Shane E. Thom, 37, Monroe, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. on a probation hold at the probation and parole office in the Green County Justice Center. Thom was jailed pending court.
On Sunday:
Sierra Q. Settler, 24, Brodhead, was arrested at 3:26 a.m. for DWI and driving with a PAC after being stopped for driving left of center on County S north of Wis. 11, Town of Jefferson. Settler was released pending court.
Brett R. Parr, 20, Monroe, was arrested at 9:05 p.m. for disorderly conduct, obstruction and driving after suspension after he allegedly threatened Michael B. Werren, 25, South Wayne, while brandishing a hand gun. Parr posted bond and was released pending court. Werren was cited for disorderly conduct and released pending court.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:
A deputy assisted in delivering an emergency message to a resident at 3:38 a.m. on Prairie Road, Seymour Township.
A deputy took a report of criminal damage to property on Park Avenue, Village of Benton, at 11:05 a.m.
Marie L. Carpenter, 25, Gratiot, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. on a Lafayette County Warrant. Carpenter was jailed pending court.
A deputy investigated a complaint of several dead sheep at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at a location on South Holland Road, Gratiot Township. Paw prints found in the area suggest the animals were killed by some type of predatory animal, such as a wolf.
On Sunday:
A deputy took a report of a gas drive-off from a business on Wis. 11, Gratiot, at 3:07 p.m. The incident remains under investigation.
Deputies responded at 5:22 p.m. to a harassment complaint at a residence on County W, Monticello Township.
Michelle R. Zoller, 35, Monroe, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. for disorderly conduct following a disturbance at a residence on West Center Street, South Wayne. Zoller was released pending court.
Brodhead Police
BRODHEAD - Justin D. Halvorson, 25, Brodhead, was arrested at 3:41 p.m. Sunday, June 15, for possession of marijuana and urinating in public in the 300 block of 2nd Street. He was released pending court.
Kayla M. L. Burnett, 20, Brodhead, was cited on Thursday for issuing worthless checks. She was released pending court.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - On Monday, June 16:
Police received a complaint of possible child abuse at 12:15 p.m. in the village. Green County Human Services was contacted and the juvenile was interviewed. The case remains under investigation.
Police responded to a complaint of suspicious activity under the bridge on Wis. 69 at 6:25 p.m. The subjects were contacted and it was found they were just playing in the water.
Police responded to several hazards within the village due to the severe thunderstorm that came through the area at 11:54 p.m.
Police took a complaint of attempted fraud at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday. The complainant received a bill from "TELECOM USA" out of Jacksonville, Fla., stating additional fees must be paid for collect calls. TDS stated it was a fraud attempt and there had been several complaints filed against the purported company.
Police took a report of vandalism at 1:04 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Elmer Road. The investigation continues.
Amanda L. Steiner, 28, Monroe, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. Sunday for DWI and PAC, both first offenses. She was pulled over for speeding in the 200 block of Wis. 69. She was jailed pending court.
