DARLINGTON - Christopher Crall, 46, Manchester, Iowa, was arrested at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, for a restraining order violation and on a charge of obstructing an officer, following an investigation on Main Street. Crall was also cited with driving without a license. He was released pending court.

MONROE - An employee at Taco Bell, 606 W. 8th St., called at 11:24 p.m. Monday, June 17, to complain of a large group of kids hanging out in the parking lot and blocking the drive-through. The group was gone by the time an officer arrived.
On Tuesday, June 18:
At 12:26 a.m., an officer found two people parked in Honey Creek Park afterhours and asked them to leave.
The owner of a property in the 900 block of 16th Street was issued a warning notice for unmowed grass after an officer responded to an anonymous complaint at 8:32 a.m.
An officer checked back on a property with unmowed grass in the 500 block of 10th Avenue at 10:32 a.m. The lawn was still long, and the officer contacted the real estate agent handling the property.
The owner of a property in the 300 block of 2nd Street was issued a warning notice for unmowed grass after an officer followed up on an earlier complaint at 12:53 p.m.
A wedding ring set was reported lost at 12:59 p.m. The rings were lost sometime June 9, somewhere in Monroe. If found, bring to the police station.
A caller at 3:02 p.m. complained about a man playing guitar and singing on the downtown Square. An officer stopped by and asked the musician if he could sing more softly. "I'll just leave," he responded.
A 911 caller at 6:53 p.m. reported a fight in progress in the parking lot of Monroe Clinic. The people involved in the fight were gone by the time an officer arrived.
An employee at the Boco BP, 907 20th Ave., called at 8:49 p.m. with a concern about kids hanging out and playing in the side lot by the gas station. They were gone by the time an officer arrived.

MONROE - Brian A. Mason, 26, Argyle, was jailed on a probation hold and cited for driving with a revoked license, inattentive driving, failure to maintain control and failure to install an ignition interlock device, after deputies, New Glarus police, Blanchardville Fire and Blanchardville EMS responded to a rollover crash in York Township at 7:52 p.m. Tuesday, June 18. Mason was westbound in the N8300 block of County A when he reported he fell asleep and lost control on a curve. The vehicle veered off the west side of the road, where it overturned a couple of times before coming to rest on its wheels in the ditch. Mason was transported for treatment of injuries he sustained in the accident. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed.

A deputy responded at 3:17 a.m. to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle parked in the road on County B in Belmont Township. The 2004 Pontiac was later located several miles to the east on County B. It had become disabled after striking an unknown object. The sole occupant, Rachel A. Reuter, 22, Platteville, reported she was a passenger in the vehicle and could not identify the driver. She reported no injuries. The vehicle was towed and impounded. The case remains under investigation as a driver and a crash scene need to be identified. Reuter was given a ride to a residence in Belmont.
Alice L. McCarthy, 75, Marion, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 2:56 p.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Gratiot Township.
Colin C. Baker, 24, Clintonville, was cited for speeding at 8:59 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township.
An unknown sum of money was reported stolen at 8:10 a.m. from a residence on County D in Fayette Township.
