MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• A trailer hitch and tools were found at 8:44 a.m. in the 1600 block of 15th Avenue and can be claimed by their owner at the Monroe Police Department.

• A bicycle was found at 6:35 p.m. in the 1100 block of 17t Avenue and can be claimed by its owner at the Monroe Police Department.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On May 24:

• New Glarus Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Office with a car versus deer crash in the N9600 block of Wis. 69 at 11:24 p.m.

On May 25:

• At 9:41 a.m., police cited Brad A. Madigan, 59, Dane, for a driver seatbelt violation on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Police cited Gerard J. Molloy, 20, New Glarus, was cited for a driver seatbelt violation on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue at 12:28 p.m.

• At 12:46 p.m., police cited Henry Harrison, 63, Stoughton, for non/expired vehicle registration on Wis. 69 at County W.

• Police conducted a vehicle unlock at 1:01 p.m. in the 600 block of 7th Avenue. The vehicle was unlocked without incident.

• At 3:48 p.m., police located a vehicle parked in violation to posted signs on the east side of 2nd Street. A parking citation was issued.

• James Robinson Jr., 51, Madison, was cited for illegal window tint at 8:49 p.m. in the 200 block of Industrial Drive.

• At 10:27 p.m., police warned an individual about having his dog in the park and being in the park after hours after observing the violation in the 100 block of 4th Avenue.

• At 11:30 p.m., New Glarus Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Office and the Iowa County Sheriff's Office with a runaway juvenile in the N900 block of Wis. 39. The juvenile was taken into custody and transferred to the Iowa County Sheriff's deputies. Request for charges will be made to the Green County District Attorney's Office for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer for behavior that occurred during the contact.
