MONROE - Injuries were reported following a one-vehicle accident at 12:28 a.m. Saturday on County E at Ware Road in the Town of Albany. Reports indicate that Christopher M. Malkow 19, Monroe, was southbound on County E when he fell asleep. He entered a ditch and collided with a utility pole, causing the vehicle to roll over one time. The vehicle sustained very severe damage and it was towed from the scene. Malkow was cited driving too fast for conditions and released pending court.
- Jessica L. Weeden, 18, New Glarus, reported hitting a deer at 7:03 p.m. Friday on Wis. 69, north of Spring Valley Road, in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle sustained severe front-end and moderate driver's side damage, and it was towed from the scene.
- Brad L. Hartwig, 38, Milwaukee, reported that he hit a deer at 8:28 p.m. Friday in the North 9400 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damage but was driven from the scene.
- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 8:48 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 11, near County MM, in the Town of Cadiz. Allen Scott Bechtolt, 26, Monroe, was eastbound on Wis. 11 when the vehicle he was driving blew a tire, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle and enter a ditch. The vehicle then collided with a mailbox owned by Gary G. Wilhelms, 55, Browntown. The vehicle received moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene.
- Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 7:01 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of North Mechanic Street in the Village of Albany. An Albany Police Department's squad car driven by Robert A. Ritter, 42, Orfordville, was on North Mechanic Street when he made a left turn into the Albany Lutheran Church's parking lot. Ritter entered the grass and hit a tree. Ritter was not wearing a seat belt and received injuries from the crash. Ritter had declined medical attention at the scene. The squad car received moderate damage to the front-end and was driven from the scene.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 4:41 p.m. June 6 at a parking lot in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69. Reports indicate that Kathleen M. Workman, 56, Monticello, was backing out of a parking stall and a vehicle driven by Virginia S. Ryser, 79, New Glarus, was driving through the parking lot. Both vehicles colliding causing minor to moderate damage to the vehicles.
- No injuries were reported during a three-vehicle accident at 4:25 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Wis. 69. Reports indicate Melissa M. Yaun, 18, Monticello, was following too close to a vehicle driven by Stephanie J. Edmunds, 40, Monticello. Edmunds hit the vehicle in front her, which was driven by Michael J. Mckeon, 45, New Glarus. Yaun's and Edmunds' vehicles each had severe damage and Mckeon's vehicle sustained minor damage. Edmunds' vehicle was towed from the scene. Yaun was cited for following too closely.

MONROE - Mark D. Kitto, 51, Monroe, was arrested for a count of driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated, a count of driving against traffic and a count of driving a vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration at 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue. He was released pending a court date.
- Randall M. Patterson, 57, Monroe, was arrested for disorderly conduct and battery, both counts follow under domestic abuse laws, at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of west 23rd Street, following a disturbance. He was jailed.
- Robert E. Copeland Jr., 38, Monroe, was cited for possession of marijuana at 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of 10th Avenue. He was released pending a court date.
- Cody A. Young, 18, Arygle, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol at 3 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of 17th Street. He was released pending a court appearance.

NEW GLARUS - Brenda L. Jelle, 43, Monticello, was cited for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle as a passenger at 12:20 a.m. Saturday on 4th Avenue at Railroad Street, after being stopped for a traffic violation.
- Officers took a complaint of damage done to a vehicle window on June 7 at 2:06 p.m. Reports indicate that the incident occurred on June 3 between 1 and 3:30 a.m. near the New Glarus Nursing Home. A window was damaged on a vehicle and it appeared that the window may have been shot with a BB gun. Police are investigating the incident.

MONROE - Karley M. Lamphier, 19, Madison, was cited for driving without a valid driver's license and having defective lights at 11:15 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 69 near Highland Drive in the Town of New Glarus. She was released pending court.
- Dakota R. Black, 21, Albany, was cited for driving after revocation and arrested for violating bond at 10:04 p.m. Friday on Dunphy Road, east of Psalms Way, following a stop for speeding. Black was jailed.
- Malorie A. Knesal, 21, Mt. Horeb, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. Saturday in the North 8900 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of New Glarus for an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Rock County Circuit Court for contempt of court, following a traffic stop in which Knesal was the passenger. Knesal posted the required bond and was released.
- Damon Wayne Wicker, 19, Machesney Park, Ill., was arrested for failure to appear on a charge of aggravated assault with a gun issued by Winnebago County, Ill., at 9:21 p.m. Saturday at the Clarence Bridge Park boat landing off of Mt. Hope Road in the Town of Spring Grove, following a disturbance. Wicker was also cited for underage consumption of alcohol. Wicker was jailed.

DARLINGTON - Joseph M. Oates, 42, South Wayne, was arrested for disorderly conduct at 2:42 a.m. Saturday at a residence on Pleasant Street in South Wayne. Oates was released.
- Jacinto Gutierrez Lorenzano, 36, Darlington, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving left of center at 3:47 a.m. Sunday on Washington in Darlington. The passenger, Estreberto Arriaga, 49, Elgin, Ill., was cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle. Both subjects were later released.
- Nathaniel L. Libberton, 20, South Wayne, was cited for speeding at 6:43 p.m. Sunday on County N in the Town of Wayne.
- Kenneth L. Blucker, 47, Alexis, Ill., was cited for driving with no valid driver's license at 8:20 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate that deputies located his vehicle after a female passenger indicated to a clerk at a convenience store in Gratiot that she needed assistance. Blucker was stopped and detained in Jo Daviess County as a similar incident had occurred earlier in the day in that jurisdiction.
