Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Donald W. Hopper, 19, Monroe, was arrested on a first offense of driving while intoxicated under a controlled substance after deputies stopped his vehicle at 10:30 p.m. in the 200 block of 17th Street in Monroe. Hopper was also cited for possessing drug paraphernalia. He was released. A 17-year-old passenger in the vehicle was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia. He was released. The sheriff's Office K-9 unit assisted with the traffic stop.

• Derek J. Morgan, 23, Monroe, was cited for having open Intoxicants in a vehicle and possessing drug paraphernalia after deputies stopped his vehicle at 7:07 p.m. for a traffic violation in the W4500 block of Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Jefferson. Morgan was released. The sheriff's office K-9 Unit assisted with the stop.



On Saturday:

• Michael F. Holland, 50, Lena, was arrested for a first offense of driving while under the influence, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration and cited for speeding at 1:11 a.m. Wis. 69, at Melvin Road, in the Town of Clarno. Holland was released.

• Hollie A. Heiselman 29, Albany, was arrested on an Albany Police Department warrant for failing to pay fine for driving while suspended at 6:15 p.m. in Albany. Heiselman posted bond and was released.

• Deputies arrested Thomas W. M. Cozzens, 18, Monticello, on a Green County warrant for disorderly conduct, intimidation of victim, and false imprisonment at 6:41 p.m. in Monticello. Cozzens was jailed.

• Virgilio Vismark Perez-Palacios 28, Brodhead, was arrested for a first offense of driving while intoxicated at 7:34 p.m. after deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on County G, south of Wis. 11, in the Town of Spring Grove. Perez-Palacios was cited for speeding, open intoxicants in a vehicle, driving while suspended and having a prohibited alcohol concentration. Perez-Palacios was released.

• Donald Gene Bornmeier, 35, Monroe, was arrested on a Department of Corrections Probation and Parole warrant at 10:12 p.m. on Old Argyle Road in the Town of Monroe. Bornmeier was jailed.
