Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Robert A. Geyer, 41, Monroe, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, first offense, after deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Town Center Road east of County K, Town of Jefferson. Geyer was jailed for a 12-hour hold.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• A deputy checked the welfare of an individual at 3:40 a.m. on South Mound Avenue, Village of Belmont.

• A deputy responded at 11:49 a.m. to a report of livestock on the roadway on Wisconsin 81, Elk Grove Township.

• A deputy responded to a civil dispute on County XX, Belmont Township, at 4 p.m.

• A deputy assisted with traffic control for a bike ride at 5 p.m. on Wis. 11, Shullsburg Township.

• A deputy was dispatched at 5:51 p.m. to assist in a civil dispute on Stub Lane, Darlington Township.

• William J. Harris, 27, Benton, was cited at 8:11 p.m. for driving after suspension following a traffic stop on Wis. 11, Benton Township.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - On Monday, July 7:

• Cody L. Rader, 22, Brodhead, was cited at 6:46 p.m. for open intoxicants in a vehicle and failure to keep control of a vehicle following a traffic accident in the 600 block of 16th Street. Rader was released pending court.

• Brayden J. Collins, 19, Brodhead, was cited at 7:58 p.m. for an animal running at large in the 500 block of 17th Street. Collins was released pending court.
