Lafayette County Sheriff

• A case of identity theft was reported at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at a residence on Grant Street in Argyle. The victim reported he had been notified by his credit card company that his card was being used in the state of New York.

• A deputy provided a ride home to a Benton male found walking on County J in Benton Township at 11:25 a.m. Saturday, July 13.

• Criminal damage to property was reported on South Galena Street in South Wayne at 9:22 p.m. Saturday, July 13.

• An abandoned ATV was reported on County C in Argyle Township at 6:04 a.m. Sunday, July 14. The owner was contacted, and arrangements were made to have the disabled vehicle removed.

• A deputy assisted at 7:11 a.m. Sunday, July 14, with a civil dispute involving personal property that had been loaned to another person and not returned to the owner at a residence on Bruce Street in Shullsburg.

• A civil property dispute was reported at a residence on 2nd Street in Benton at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14. One of the parties involved had recently moved from the residence and was attempting to locate personal property left behind.

• A deputy responded to a complaint of loose gravel causing a traffic hazard on County O in White Oak Springs Township at 7:18 p.m. Sunday, July 14.

On Monday, July 15:

• Mary E. Richards, 24, Darlington, was arrested at 7:05 p.m. on a warrant issued by the City of Darlington. She posted the required bond and was released.

• A hit-and-run that occurred a day earlier was reported 10:20 a.m. An unknown vehicle hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle belonging to Peter Block, 53, Platteville, on Lake Joy Lane in Belmont. Block's vehicle sustained moderate damage.

• Harassing text messages were reported at 1:44 p.m. at a residence on Johnson Road in Shullsburg Township. A suspect is under investigation.

• A deputy responded at 9:52 p.m. to Stub Lane in Darlington Township for a civil dispute between neighbors.

Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Benjamin Aurand, 28, Warren, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 12:10 a.m. Monday, July 15, following a disturbance on Galena Street. He posted bond and was released.

• Lidia Yoslemes Flores-Flores, 32, Darlington, was arrested on a second-offense charge of driving without a valid license and cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 12:51 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, following a traffic stop on Galena Street. She was released pending court.

Monroe Police

MONROE - On Monday, July 15:

• Garion M. McKey, 18, Monroe, was arrested at 10:37 a.m. in the 1900 block of 15th Avenue on a charge of violating a restraining order. He was jailed. His bond is set at $4,000 signature and $1,000 cash. He has a pre-trial conference Sept. 3.

• Richard A. Smiley, 53, Monroe, was arrested on a third-offense charge of driving while under the influence of an intoxicant or controlled substance, after he collided with a tree in the area of 22nd Avenue and 2nd Street at about 3:30 p.m. and then fled the scene of the crash. He was released pending court. State court records indicate his most recent DWI was in 2004.

• Kendra L. Mazahreh, 36, Monroe, was arrested at 6:44 p.m. in the 1000 block of 7th Avenue on an outstanding warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department for issuing worthless checks. She was jailed.

• Trey R. Leopold, 19, Monroe, was cited for disorderly conduct and underage drinking after police were called to a disturbance at 1:47 a.m. in the 600 block of Sunrise Court.

• Carla A. Kundert, 57, Monroe, was cited for making an improper left turn after police responded at 5:03 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident in the 700 block of 3rd Avenue. Kundert collided with a vehicle driven by a 77-year-old Monroe woman. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage; one was towed.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Monday, July 15:

• Aaron G. Springer, 44, Shullsburg, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department, after deputies were called at 2:06 p.m. to a civil dispute in the N3400 block of Ridge Road in Jordan Township. Springer was transferred to the custody of Lafayette County deputies and jailed in Darlington.

• Adam J. Dimodica, 25, Freeport, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies stopped a vehicle at 6:47 p.m. on Wisconsin 104 near Borchardt Road in Decatur Township. He was also cited for speeding. He was released to a responsible party pending court.
